I went to my first class that was listed as beginner friendly and it definitely was for intermediate+. Thankfully, I have been doing yoga for a while so I was able to follow along, but I would like their classes more if they gave alternate positions based on skill level.... more
Such a great studio and staff. I needed a place to train while I was visiting family and friends over the holidays. This was a fantastic fit to keep me on track and motivated.. The studio is very clean and well kept, and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and the environment overall is very pleasant and welcoming. The classes I've taken are very well planned, the teachers are professional, guidance is clear and there is no pressure if you have to take a break from the flow and rest, in your own yoga pose or just have a child pose.... more

Always a refreshing workout. Makes you feel like a baby again! Nice and clean! :-). An excellent physical workout, maybe less so a mental one. Smells like any bikram studio, but you get over it in a few minutes.... more

UNDERWHELMING... AND did not surpass or come near my expectation. The heated flow class had at least 40 people... packed like sardines for an 8 am train.. found it counterproductive for a yoga class where those come for space and peace from the hustle and bustle.... more
Modo Yoga Williamsburg is my favorite yoga studio in all of New York. All of the teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the sessions feel like a moving meditation. The studio is very well kept and you can rent just about anything you would need.... more

The best studio in Harlem. A lovely place filled with natural light; great teachers from different styles of yoga. Clean, friendly and very accesible prices. The only thing missing in the classes is to include guided pranayama and meditation practice.... more
