BEST PLACE VERY ZEN AND GREAT PEOPLE.

I love this yoga place. It's a small nook in Murray Hill, and they offer rental mats for $2 (I think). It's a clean space, and the room is quiet and calming. Everything you need to use for yoga is in the yoga space, and everything is neat and clean. My teacher was really sweet and calm, and paid attention to everyone's form. I'm not someone who frequents yoga but I'm starting to and making it my mission to be more involved in yoga. I definitely got a workout out of it too (my muscles were sore after). I was able to take a class using my ClassPass credits. Will be coming back!

I recently completed the 200 hour teaching training and could not say enough good things about the staff, the curriculum and the overall experience. Top notch in all levels. I felt that they not only taught us alignment and skills to teach, but also a deeper understanding of the philosophies and teachings. I would highly recommend.

I recently graduated from mang'Oh's teacher training program and it has been an absolute pleasure to learn and grow from this community. I am always excited and ready to take a class at mang'Oh and deepen my practice. This studio offers a strong sense of support with a wide range of teachers who bring a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend taking a class here to find out yourself!

My yoga home! This yoga studio is a local gem in Manhattan Midtown East, and I am so grateful that it exists. The teachers are absolutely amazing. The trial membership lets us explore different types of classes as there are various styles and levels. I highly recommend! I walk out feeling much better about everything every time I come in for a class.

The founder has created something special at mang'Oh. The studio offers a variety of yoga classes with opportunities to practice for everyone at all levels, combining creativity with attention to detail at high teaching standards. The next smile is never far away. In addition, mang'Oh offers a yoga teacher training program which feels like an investment for life.
Entrepreneurship shines at mang'Oh, the studio deserves more than the 5 stars I can give here.

I am a big fan of mang'Oh - I have been attending classes at mang'Oh for about 3 years now. I used to live a block away, and although I'm now 13 blocks away, I still travel up to mang'Oh for classes. No matter the teacher, I am left feeling re-energized and relaxed!

I've been coming to mang'Oh for over 5 years and have nothing but positive things to say. It's an amazing boutique studio with skilled teachers, a great range of classes, and exactly the kind of ambiance you need to step away from the busy New York daily grind. If you need a new yoga studio in midtown east, look no further. If you love Vinyasa Yoga, definitely try Chintamani and Djuna's classes ASAP!

The classes are not too crowded and the one I regularly attend is focused on breathing and alignment which is just what I need. I have had 3 different regular instructors over the years I've been attending and I've always felt well cared for, physically and emotionally, and it's a completely judgement-free zone even though I'm in an open class. The studio is clean and everything done electronically which is just perfect.

A lovely, neighborhood studio, with a variety of teachers. It is a community of practitioners, in a low-pressure environment. The class schedule permits early birds, afternoon creatures, and night owls with a bevy of options.

Mang'oh is my peaceful oasis in nyc! It is the only yoga studio I have stuck to and still love more than ever since I joined 3 years ago. I try to go as often as possible. The instructors are all great, very knowledgeable and take the practice very seriously in an unpretentious yet grounded in the philosophy of yoga practice. I love that Erica the owner has a background in dance, so all of her classes are very fluid with an amazing playlist. The way we learn to have beauty and grace in our asanas teach us to incorporate that into our daily lives. So needed living in nyc!!

A great studio that offers a variety of classes for all levels. It has a very personal character and it is improving constantly based on the needs of the practitioners. I love the lunchbox classes that are tailored for those ones who want to practice during their work hours.

Mang'Oh yoga studio quickly became my second home. The atmosphere is relaxing and warm. They recently newly decorated the studio so it almost feels like a little hidden heaven in the midst of chaotic Manhattan.

I love the fact that is on a great location in Midtown east but it's far away from all the traffic noise so you can really zone out and focus on your practice.

The variety of teachers is amazing and I think everyone can find someone who they can resonate with. Few of my favorite are Chintamani, Djuna, Sarah, Andrea L., Josh, Katherine and precious teacher Julie.

Also as a yogi that quickly gets hot and sweaty I find this studio to be much more airy and light unlike other studios.

With all that greatness, no wonder I chose this studio for my teacher training!

Namaste!

I love this studio. I feel at home and challenged although I am not a natural yogi.

Mang'Oh is such an inviting studio. A very peaceful atmosphere, excellent staff, and thoroughly trained teachers. I am always recommending this studio to friends and family of all yogi stages!

I don't give reviews often but Mangoh Studio is a hidden gem and has been by safe haven for the last 2.5yrs. It's like walking into a sanctuary. Newly renovated with calming tones surrounding you as you walk in. It has one studio which is one of the attractions of the place. You're not among a flurry of people. The classes are wonderful. I hadn't gone in a week because of work & life which is a bad excuse. .. And yoga is what I needed to release the stress and let everything go. I few eagle arms and surya Namskara's and wow I felt so much calmer when I walked out.

If you haven't tried Mangoh definitely take a class here Chintamnai, Josh, Sarah, Andrea L, Djuna, Danielle F,Lauren, Andreas, Julie, Sara are all teachers I've taken and you can't go wrong. And I'm sure the other teachers are amazing as well.

If you're looking for TT, their course was an amazing experience for me. Taking the course allowed me to deepen my own yoga journey and apply what I learned to living in this chaotic world we live in.

Erica Whalen the owner is an amazing person and hope when you take a class you get to meet her!

Namaste!

The yoga instructor was extremely rude when I came to discuss pricing and schedule. I was treated horribly. The friend who was with me and who was new to yoga was shocked. What happened with 8 limbs of yoga? I left the studio promising myself never come back. They basically lost two customers. I am also not sure how people take yoga teacher training there. Is nastiness a part of this training too?

I am a very beginner and not flexible at all. That's why I always gave up after first class most of time.
Here in mang'Oh yoga, I am sure that I can keep going on yoga with level 1 (wish I can reach lever 3).

It was relaxing, but I could work out at the same time while following the instructor.

If you are not sure, just go with 'trial membership' which is 2 weeks unlimited for $39.
I bet you will love it.

I did the yoga teacher training here last year and it was fantastic. The teachers and curriculum were excellent, and the cohort was very small which is unusual for teacher training programs in nyc. Not only did I really learn how to teach yoga, but it encouraged me to make some personal changes that have greatly benefited my life, and I made some really great friends during the process. The training ends with a week long retreat in upstate nyc which was amazing. Erica, the director of the program is terrific. She is so supportive and a great yogi and teacher. My mentor Chintamani was also terrific. Even almost a year later she is still offering support and guidance. The other teachers were also top notch. If you are interested in doing a 200 hour teacher training or just deepening your practice and making some great friends and having a great time, come by the studio to get info about the training.
