Great gym. The best class is dancesport endurance.. Hydromassage chairs are great. Equipment is well taken care of. It is a great gym for a little space. I wish they'd take some of the empty conference space away and build a pool or hot tub.... more
I love this store! I've bought a few things from here like gloves, hats, panties tank tops and bras and I just live how they fit! So comfortable and stylist and generally decent price's The staff is helpful too! I swear I had every single employee ask me if I needed help or if there was anything they could do for me but it was a little excessive! I got the point! Ascend is THE best fitness studio in the DMV. All of the instructors are very friendly and the community is like a family. The cycle studio and strength training studio are extremely clean and updated.... more

Trained at this gym a few times. Not bad, small for sure, at least at this location. And if you are a big guy like me and it is busy, you will have members in your way and bumping into you and you have to wait to use a machine sometimes.... more

I was pretty intimidated to take a class here but have been so pleasantly surprised by how supportive and inclusive this studio is! I thought that I would stick out like a big tall sore thumb, but the front desk staff and instructors always seem to recognize when there's a newbie on the scene, and they make a special effort to say hi and give the lay of the land - and the other folks taking the classes are really welcoming and encouraging.... more

How much it coast for one mounth ?. Great small gym nestled in Old Town Alexandria, and even when it's busy there is no problem getting use of a machine. A bit more relaxing than many of the bigger gyms and it has most of the essentials.... more
