Your Life Energy is a great place to practice yoga. I have been attending classes there for almost two years, and the teachers have all been great. The classes are small, so you get some good individual attention. It is very convenient for anyone in or around Old Town.

I came to YLE as a beginner in Yoga just about a year ago. I really enjoy the small classes and the instructors are very experienced, helpful and patient. I can always count on their consistent support and guidance, which is the main reason I have seen great improvement in my practice.
The place is always clean and accommodating, which is important. YLE provides all the props and tools necessary for every type of yoga sessions and I appreciate the complimentary mini water bottles for when I forget to grab mine. Also, parking is never an issue so it's nice to have that peace of mind.
I have referred a few of my friends to this place and I recommend you give it a shot as well. You will not regret it.

I started coming to yoga classes using a 10-class pass and ended becoming an unlimited monthly class member to take advantage of all its yoga class offerings from Yin, Vinyasa and Gentle. The class size is perfect for the teachers to provide personalized attention, assistance and feedback. They also do a great job accommodating to different levels. I have seen myself improving tremendously and can now to poses that are tailored for more advanced classes. I also love the facial services, I go at least every month and my skin looks awesome!

I love absolutely everything about YLE: massage, yoga, EVERYTHING! If I could honestly give this place 10 stars, I would. Maricela is the kindest and one of the most generous souls you'll ever meet. She makes you feel right at home as soon as you step through her door, and she works absolute magic on the massage table.
Also, if anyone is looking for a relaxed, casual, but intimate place to do yoga in Old Town, I highly recommend YLE's yoga membership. My boyfriend and I were interested in yoga but always hesitant to start; big yoga studio classes can be intimidating when you don't know any of the poses, and it's hard to ask questions or keep up when the instructor is in front of a class of a dozen or so more experienced students. But at YLE, the limited space means small and intimate classes that range from more beginner levels (like Gentle Yoga) to classes that are a bit more intense (like Vinyasa). The instructors are all very knowledgeable, personable, and more than willing to explain or demonstrate new poses. We started in January and already feel right at home on our mats. If you're still unsure or new to yoga, YLE also prices classes individually and lends yoga mats/blocks to students who may not have their own. I can't recommend this place more!

Both of us have gone to Maricela for Reiki sessions and it is evident that she knows exactly what she's doing. She is 100% transparent about her practice, so you will know exactly what to expect. No fluff or gimmicks, just pure truth and wonderful sessions that leave you feeling 10 times better. It's a bonus that she is truly warmhearted and genuine. Additionally, her establishment is immaculate and very, very cozy (and it smells great too)! I could write a book about her kindness, how gifted she is and how much she has helped us; but I'll end with this: schedule an appointment and see for yourself. You certainly won't regret it!

Their yoga studio is a great place to learn or improve your practice no matter what your level is. The teachers are very knowledgeable and are always ready to help and challenge you for maximum mental and physical benefits from your yoga practice.
I went to Your Life Energy with a terrible pain in my upper neck. A friend had recommended them. The space is so peaceful and inviting and after my first massage I had a marked improvement in my neck pain and movement. I just had my second session there and it was wonderful.
My visit was an amazing experience! It was exactly what I needed and so special. Maricela was perfect and gave me such a therapeutic session, I was in love! The atmosphere was calming and relaxing and every minute was full of love and healing and care. Everything from the lighting to the sounds are catered to your liking. Would recommend to anyone especially new comers to reiki and massage. Would also recommend the couples reiki/massage sessions. ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING
I had an appointment for the 1st facial I have had in 20 years. I am 47 and just didn't have the time or money. When it was recommended I try it, I met Vera. She was absolutely wonderful. She knew so much, was so kind, so warm, and took such amazing care of me, I just can't say enough good things about her. I have gone back since and will continue to go because she has made such a positive difference in my life. I highly recommend everyone not only take advantage of the Reiki and yoga etc (which are also phenomenal!), but treat yourself well and go see Vera!
It was a unique experience. My Reiki session really made feel energized and peaceful. The place is lovely and serene. I want to thank Maricela for the spiritual experience during my visit. I really recommend this place to anyone.

Maricela has such beautiful energy. I followed Reiki with a custom massage from Kelly. I've had many massages before but this was the BEST massage ever. Both Maricela and Kelly pay very close attention to their customers needs to make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for and more! It was the first time I had felt stress free in ages. Thank you Maricela and Kelly. Be back soon :)
Very beautiful experience in the Level 1 Reiki Class.
The energy in the studio is very calm and loving. The instructors were very good. A wonderful and uplifting weekend. I can't wait to go back for Level 2 Reiki instruction.
