Great gym, very compact. I've noticed the bars are not as thick here, they seem to only have 25mm diameter Women's barbells instead of the standard 28mm. Hurts my wrists. They should reopen anyways / 10.... more

Great equipment. Definitely a place catered to a certain demographic . Not saying that's bad, just know what you're getting in to. One of the few places in the greater Lansing area, though, that will give you the chance to "lift heavy" and get a good workout in.... more

WAS an okay gym. Lots of power equipment, enough machines. Closed today, January 11th and gave NO NOTICE. There was an email at midnight, if that counts..This is a great gym for families and individuals alike.... more
The original place it took me to another place with the Great Ron love and big Lou Campbell by the owners Wil and Norm dabish all my big brothers from other great mothers....Its not all that for looks but its the only place that would give you that powerful body you want.... more

Just love Powerhouse at 16 & Gratiot! Staff is friendly, trainers are amazing and I am seeing continual improvements to equipment. And to top it off the cost is very reasonable. Been going here for 5+ years now and the place is like a second family to me.... more

The gym is old, so, so, so old and outdated. There are are holes on the walls, the ceilings, sometimes the second floor smells terribly, no one cleans up after themselves, the workers don't clean either, only time i see a staff member organizing is on Sundays and is always the same person, everyone else never cleans.... more
