WAS an okay gym. Lots of power equipment, enough machines.
Closed today, January 11th and gave NO NOTICE. There was an email at midnight, if that counts.
This is a great gym for families and individuals alike. Todd Zody is also an Awesome personal trainer!

I used to be a member of Lifetime fitness. My City Fitness is not nearly as "Grand" as the Lifetime fitness, but they have everything you need to get all your cardio and weight training done, and they also have free classes through out the week). Every single staff member I met was very friendly and professional, not to mention I saved $100/month on my gym membership! For two people, it is only $40/month (I pay $10 more for a 24 hrs access key, otherwise it is only $30/month for two people. You do have to pay a one time sign up fee). You also get one free personal trainer section. I end up signing up for 10 sections - Personal trainer - Todd. Todd is very professional. With his back ground of exercise physiology and occupational therapy, he knows exactly what to do to help me to reach my goals. He is there 5 days a week with flexible hours (which helps a lot because my schedule is crazy!). I am happy that I found this place.

I have recently started going powerhouse gym to start a new journey of health and fitness. I was a little nervous but the staff are very personable and encouraging. Looking forward to continuing this journey and powerhouse is well equipped with a variety of free weights, machines and classes to help meet my goals.

I've been going here for over a month now with no issues. They have 24 hour access and I can login before and after normal gym hours. Signing up was quick and easy. Full weightlifting equipment especially for competitors and when I have interacted with the staff, I have had no issues.

Gym is spotless. Never busy and the staff are great. Best gym in town by far. 1st day is always free.
I've been going to this gym since the fall and I love it. Everyone seems super friendly and nice. I was training with some of my friends when I started but they were so far ahead of me that I wasn't seeing any results. I started doing sessions once or twice a week with Bryan and now I'm doing 3 or 4 a week. I definitely recommend getting some trainer sessions with Bryan if you have any concerns about getting started or if you just need someone to really push you in the gym. He does a fantastic job at both.
I was a member of metro fitness for a couple years and had put my membership on hold. As soon as Powerhouse took over, my membership was reactivated and I was charged full price for the last 3 months, without any notification.
When I paid a visit to discuss my issue, the front desk person confirmed that this was an issue with a lot of clients being charged inappropriately. He said the owner is aware and would refund the charges. I needed to email the owner. I did, that was last week and no response.
Unfortunately, this is how these places have to operate in order to make money. Lots of other gym options nearby.

I really like Metro Fitness Bethel! It is a family friendly environment! My entire family works out at the gym on a regular basis! Jan is a wonderful trainer that takes her time with her clients and class attendees! She gets to know them and makes sure that you are being safe with your workouts! Almost all of the staff there is friendly and helpful.
So sad that this gym does not care about holding classes. Many folks prefer classes and recently one of the trainers left and our group has been unable to find out from management if they plan to replace the instructor and continue on with our class. Client services could use some help.
