Best adult leagues in all of portland area. I have played at nearly every indoor facilty in portland area and rose city west takes the cake. A few little caveots but you wont find anything better, no matter what your skill level or experience.... more
Although the classes themselves are fine, I would advise anyone attending this studio to pay cash, as the check in processes for this studio make it easy for your credit card to be fraudulently charged for classes.... more
The gyrotonic instructors at Pearl Pilates Studio are the best! Highly amazing and skilled in Gryotonic & Gyrokinesis training. I would highly recommend Jeannie and the other instructors at Pearl Pilates.... more
The sense of community at Yoga Bhoga is such a wonderful, powerful draw! Their teachers are the highest quality in Portland and their Water Avenue studio just feels amazing. I love walking into Yoga Bhoga and feeling everything start to reset.... more

The People's yoga is a great neighborhood studio with a friendly and amazing staff, from the instructors to the front desk. There are so many great yoga teachers with an array of experience who all bring something a little different to the floor.... more
Hands down the best gym in all of Portland! A good mix between yoga and Olympic lifting and everything in between. One of the few places in town that has *real* platforms. Amazing classes, amazing instructors.... more
I really enjoyed a few of the instructors there , but mostly felt the environment to be rather superficial. There was also zero modifications offered for body style or skill level and I have been practicing for 5+ years, so I am by no means a beginner.... more
Great little gym I would have liked to check out the boxing club. Front desk is amazing was homeless and they still treated me well.. The staff there is amazing, specially the youth, they always keeping gge kids engaged and you can see genuine careness.... more
I like this gym for the most part, I would have given them more starts but they recently changed instructors for Monday and Wednesday Classes in the afternoon. MY personal opinion is the instructors dont necessary have to be in super good shape, but at least in some shape, they need to inspire you , and definitely not overweight.... more
Above-average Healthcare. Lovely people. In a lovely area. I have a membership through my school. I love being able to come here after school and exercise. It's never too packed , the equipment is all pretty good quality, and I love that they provide towels for sweat and showers.... more

After browsing for yoga studios for three months, I chose Yoga for Life as my home. :) I attended a few classes of Hot Hatha, Hot Power Vinyasa, and Deep Stretch. What really won me over was the Deep Stretch class as it offered new asanas that targeted muscles that we do not often stretch.... more
