The price is outrageously expensive. I almost decided to join but realized that anywhere else would be just as nice for 200 dollars cheaper a month. Who knows where that money is going.... more

It's been about 8 weeks here now and my 9 year old son likes this gym much more than he ever did at the teaquando "belt factory". The instructors are incredibly experienced and are very good with the kids.... more
I took my 2 boys on Saturday night open play and they had a blast. I have been on the Emerald city Indoor soccer and play gym. Both super fun. I only went there once with my Church.... more
Our family has been a part of the Child Development Center at the J for over a year now. We love hearing about our boys' days - what they have learned and the fun they've had with their friends! The swimming lessons and extra activities are amazing, too!.... more
It was a GREAT CLUB but now closing on May 3rd. SAD!. If you are into racquet sports of any kind, this is THE place in KC. Large club that has been around since maybe the end of the cretaceous period, not sure.... more

The Athletic Club at 105th and Barkley has two persistent problems: 1) I joined this club mainly because the pool offered many hours of lap swimming. But often when I go there to swim, I find that all the lanes are being used for swimming lessons or for another group purpose.... more
Preety good. My kids had swimming lessons scheduled for 2 months. When the day comes no teacher shows up. My 5 and 3 year old are left standing there disappointed. I asked the swim club coach and she said this has happened at least a couple of times before.... more
Our kids have taken gymnastics and swim lessons here. The staff is always very nice and good with kids. They also do really fun birthday parties. My older girl still talks about her birthday party there from a year ago.... more
Soo I'm at champions gymnastics...but originally wanted to take my 3 year old to waldo...i stood there after entering for a while and was offered no service....an older white gentlemen came in after me and recieved assistance before i was helped.... more
