My favorite gym downtown Chicago!. I took one spinning class at S3 recently and didn't find it a real work out- more like a disco session! Let's start with the hardware: the bikes! Seats and handles have one fix length - odd! Now, about the class - most of the time in position 3 - the songs were repetitive - I didn't feel the energy out of the class.... more

Tried Morning coffee here. First. It is on the wrong side of the tracks, I'm a commuter and cannot be caught in a line for coffee if a freight comes through. The coffee is REALLY strong, great if you like it like that I find it overbearing.... more

I dropped into Sono this past weekend and had a great experience. Chris is an awesome instructor and the workout was challenging but fun! Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you are interested in joining a great community of people and want to be pushed to get more out of your time at the gym.... more
Dropped in one of the classes. Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was also really nice that they had a shower and locker room to change. After the workout of the day, I was able to use the rest of the gym to do my own workout which was really nice!.... more
Friendly staff and great class schedule- easy to find a class that fits into your day. I attend using class pass and never have an issue signing up same day. I have only been to Martha's Hot Power Fusion class at this location but can not say enough positive things about my experience! Everyone was friendly and helpful but Martha really created a relaxing and informative experience.... more

The beginner yoga class didn't rush through the poses and really allowed us to get deeper into each pose for the most benefit. The instructor seemed to be bothered with everyone wasn't leading with the same foot though and kept commenting that we were all being really quiet and that subtracted from the experience.... more

If you're looking for a flashy gym with a yoga studio, spin classes, swimming pool, etc - sorry but you aren't going to find that here. You know what else you're NOT going to find? Pushy sales people trying to exploit your friends, random "maintenance fees" and other unexpected fees, "bros" and other obnoxious people, and overcrowding and inability to use the equipment you need during the hours you ACTUALLY want to work out .... more
