I've lifted at multiple Gold's Gyms in the area. Arlington , DC , Rosslyn, Alexandria... and this 1 has benefits and drawbacks. Pros: Larger locker room than most Friendly Staff Not too busy but not a ghost town Fun and accepting environment Dedicated parking lot Cons: Classic Gym area does has a bit of an odor when walking in Overall it's an above average gym and I had a great workout!.... more

4 years ago, I looked all over DC for a reasonably priced gym that enabled me to train for powerlifting meets. Specifically, platforms, enough weights, and an atmosphere that would not look down upon heavy lifts like many of the fancy gyms in DC.... more
This gym is to congested. It's only good for sitting in the steam room to relax. Sometimes I think people intentionally draws contact with you just to bump into you. Me personally, I strive to keep a good distance from people because most folks minds are corrupted by acting simple.... more

Gym is pretty nice. Equipment is solid but not well taken care of. I haven't had contact with one single friendly staff there. If having a macho attitude is Gold's way, this location has achieved it.... more

I was there two nights in a row and the guys were georgous and the place was very clean. The staff was wonderful and will go back again.Stopped by a couple months ago, just a decaying facility with nothing to offer but a place to burn your cash.... more
Worst gym. Equipment always broken. Staff is not friendly at all. Closes for a full month a feels like you owe them dues for that. If you are not perfect, you do not belong there..I absolutely love this gym.... more

This is a decent location. The gym never seems clean enough though. The morale in the gym is average for this brand but at this specific location there are always weights and dumbbells EVERYWHERE.... more

Super dirty. The McDonald's on M Street has cleaner bathrooms..Facility is super run down. The female bathroom doors are missing locks, there's mildew on almost all the shower doors.... more
Clean. Friendly staff. Lockers, showers, sauna. Classes, private training. Good location. Parking free in deck below or when signs permit on the street..Nearly impossible to cancel your membership, I had to go through my bank to stop the charges after being misled by the manager.... more
Hilariously bad. Half the machines are broken with no fix in sight. The equipment is old and dirty. Lockers are disgusting and have not been cleaned in years. Equipment is ancient and dirty and clearly not kept up.... more
