Lighting in the men's shower has recent been improved, Good job. Hand sanitizer now at the check in stations. Cudos!

Being going to this gym for the last 6 years. Is the closest one to home. But definitely needs an upgrade in the weight room. There is not enough plates to use. During busy hours you cant find 10, 25,35 or 45 lbs. Needs more equipment. I understand is one of the oldest one. But definitely needs an upgrade. And closing in the weekends just doesnt make anysense.

It's a great local gym. In n out type to get those workouts without having to drive too far away. It has all equipment even though it is a little old.

It's always clean.
Its always true to the hours.
Its never packed.
Its easy to sign in.
Its easy to sign up.
I've never seen anyone utilize the squat rack for chest day.
The staff is very helpful and engaged with their regulars.
The sauna is never crowded, for women anyways.
The fellow gym members are polite and track their weights.
I've never had to wait for weights or machines.

Was there for years and they really never upgraded the place. Restrooms/showers are horrible. Machines are very old and always messing up( out of service). For what people are paying they should be able to keep the place a little more decent.

Frankly, this branch does not meet the standard of 24 hour fitness that I've come to expect. The equipment is rusting and borrowing, the weights are a total mess and not in order, there's not even a water fountain. The staff were very polite and helpful, but the gym itself is not the standard for 24.

This place is old with outdated equipment, some parts of this gym are pretty grimy and dirty but I think it's just the fact that it's an older building. I've lived in many different parts of the country and been to many 24 Hour Fitness locations and this is definitely one of the least well maintained clubs I've ever been to. The regional manager should be trying to get corporate or whoever to get this place remodeled and updated, some of the things I've seen here are simply unacceptable. I think the fact that this location is in the South Bay makes it worse because nobody ever speaks up to the club manager or regional manager and they think it's perfectly acceptable to have a facility like this down there but everyone knows a location like this would never fly in North County. I'm a firm believer that if enough people reach out to the district or regional manager, change can happen. All it takes is just takes a few minutes and a respectful, concise email. On another note the staff for the most part is pretty friendly and helpful, there have been some instances where I've noticed employees flirting with the club members pretty openly by the front desk or just chatting it up while ignoring other members and their club duties.

I've had my membership with 24 fitness for about 7 years and this month is my last month with them. In 7 years I haven't seen much change to any of the gyms. I have a sport membership that allows me to visit other gyms and quite frankly there all in bad shape or just too packed! This one here has super old equipment and horrible bathrooms/showers! When I got my my membership I was paying $24.99 now it's gone up to $30.99 and I have to pay a fee every year that I have no idea where that money is being used at, certainly not the equipment or kids club. I used to take my son to the kids club on east H St. And i had to take him out asap because of how bad that place smells and how bad the carpet is. I personally told my personal trainer at the time and manager that it was super bad and all they said is they would look into it and guess what it's still the Same, oh and don't let me forget to mention how there's always water leaking from the roof as you walk into the restroom area or how the Jacuzzi is always fomed up with dirt...and how that damn last shower in the women's bathroom hasn't worked for the last 2 years!!!! So now I've decided y should I keep paying more money for this gym when Planet fitness is right down the same street, it's cheaper and all their equipment is brand new. Or Chuze fitness where I can pay either $10 dlls for my self or $20 dlls for me and have the option to bring a friend for free and have full access of the gym, classes and the aqua massage!? If I ever feel the need to spend $30 plus an annual fee for a fancy gym than LA fitness it is cus 24 Hour fitness is literally garbage!!

I'm surprised this gym doesn't have better reviews. For starters, this is an Active 24 location. As soon as you enter the free weight room, it seems like the floor is hollow. Lol. Which is kind of odd. The plates to equipment ratio seems to be lagging. And when I wanted to do tricep extensions, on the cables, I couldn't find a straight-flat bar. But there's an abundant amount of equipment, for your training day needs. Now, after having gone to many others (especially the Super Sport in Escondido), I do love many things about this gym. I do like the "zoned" set up. Like there's an area for free weights and there's an area for machine weights. This place has character, which is what I love about it. It's humble. They play rap music overhead. Lol. Good for the motivation. And the fact that you could tell the equipment is a little rusted brings that extra sense of character to the place. This is a "gym," not a "sales pitch." If you know what I mean. It has that "Let's get to work feel." I'll be back.

This location has the worst costumer service. Dont know what that guy Alex did to make it to manager but it sure wasnt his profesionalism. Probably a hook up like nowaydays people get their raise. He was very rude, rolled his eyes when their locker combinations got stuck on me. I was explaining the situation in a calmly manner and he cuts me up and says "i know man! I heard you" super bothered. Glad im leaving this trash gym. So many 10/15 dllr a month gyms around us way more modern and updated for us to deal w this stupid gym . I encourage everyone to check out Chuze fitness and planet fitness. Its around the area. Very uncomfortable experience yesterday thoigh. it did ruin my day and work out. I was a costumer service supervisor for a year and this was unnacceptable. Back in my days. When there was a higher standard at avwrage jobs. Glad wont see his ugly face again

Great place to work our. Usually the least busy 24 hour for my type of schedule. Which is awesome. May need a bit of a upgrade in the locker rooms but overall working out experience is great.
