I had been in a yoga studio crisis for years and found Sojourn through a friend on FB who was "interested in an event" for an aura picture workshop. I didn't make it to the workshop, but after my 1st free class I've been going 3 to 4 times a week ever since. This place is more than a studio - it's a healing center. It's a place to belong. It's a place where you can go back to truly tying breath to posture, hang out in gorgeous non-competitive space, with women of all sizes, experience massage, alternative therapies and meet high vibe people of all ages in the process. I love it here and if you don't believe me, come to 9:30 am class any Tuesday through Friday and you'll most likely see this brown curvy girl with big hair attempting a less-crappy-than-last-week downward dog and you're more than welcome to a huge hug from me before or after class. Also, if you're super new to yoga - this is your place. Take Lauren's class on Thursday if you can, she is very technical and precise, loving and gentle - which is exactly what we newbs need!
