I LOVE Yoga Underground! It has been a wonderful place to lose myself, relax, stretch, and reset. I would recommend this place to anyone. I withheld one star for 2 reasons: 1) the floor is often dusty or has dog-hair on it, and 2) after an especially hard day, I went to yoga to regroup. I was hoping for the zen-experience I usually get here, but the instructor decided to play really up-beat music. Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, etc. I couldn't lose myself - couldn't find my breath - couldn't meditate very well. I don't mind if some people like that music during yoga, but maybe advertise that before people come to class expecting relaxation. That being said, I will be back many many times to come!
I love this studio! Every class is enjoyable and the teachers are knowledgable and kind. They make it feel safe to go your own pace but can make it as challenging as your skills demand. The classes are nicely sized but rarely too crowded. I brought my husband on free week and now we go together 3 or more times a week. It is our favorite activity. I love this studio because they teach correct technique and yoga manners, but they arent rigid. The prices are so affordable as well!

This yoga studio is the best I have ever been too. Instructors are well trained and practice traditional yoga. Very therapeutic and relaxing.

I absolutely love this studio! I started just by attending the free classes which are still amazing but they get pretty crowded, so I recommend getting a membership because then the teachers can work a lot more one-on-one with you and help you to learn the Sanskrit names and correct alignment for each pose. I love the atmosphere here - very welcoming to people of all body types and experience levels. Overall such an amazing studio and I recommend it to everyone! (Specifically if you have any back pain you should definitely go to the yoga class for back pain on Tuesdays at 5:00 bc Dean is a genius when it comes to backs and yoga! I have an office job where I sit at a desk for hours, so the back pain class is a life saver when my schedule aligns with it.)

All of the instructors are well trained, and want to help you on your personal journey. The yoga underground is not just a place for a physical practice, you go there to have a safe space, which in turn helps you to find the freedom to dive into the light within yourself. If you aren't exchanging your money energy to this studio, you should. It's way to low priced for the life changing experience that you are able to have. The studio is built on a principle of love and acceptance. If you haven't stopped by, you could change your life one downdog at a time.

Absolutely wonderful and delightful to give a week free of yoga, however I felt completely discouraged that the class was not appropriate for beginners. The instructor gave steps to go deeper into a pose but not any to lessen or lighten it all. She noticed my struggle but only addressed to the entire room at the end by saying that there is a gentle yoga class at 4 p.m. I am definitely not new to yoga but it has been a while since my last class, even with my experience I felt left out, if you have never gone to a yoga class before, I would not recommend going unless you call ahead to check the level being taught. I have been to other studios that are waaay more beginner friendly.

The studio and its instructors lovingly welcome and assist each of their students regardless of their ability level. This is a yoga studio centered around love, support, community, and personal growth. What I love most about The Yoga Underground is that I feel at peace here. This studio offers so much more than just yoga, it offers love and a sense of belonging and that's something that can't be imitated or commercialized. If you're looking for an unpretentious & down to earth yoga community, that also just so happens to have the best instructors in the state of Utah; then this is your spot.

this studio is the most magical gem of provo. each teacher is unique and knowledgeable, it's such a wonderful special community. the atmosphere is inviting to all people of all skill levels and the membership prices are especially affordable, you won't find anyplace like it! 10/10
I love this studio. The vibes are so pleasant and welcoming. Classes have students ranging from first time beginner to actual instructors. You're never out of place. So happy to go here.

Great studio for beginners who are nervous!! I love this studio more than any studio I've ever been to. The teachers and the students are welcoming and personal. You don't have to feel unconscious if you're a beginner because everybody is so friendly and willing to help you out, not judgemental AT ALL! They also offer free classes through Yoga Recycled 3 days a week which is so great, since a lot of studios are pricey and it's hard to start a yoga practice when you can't afford one. Plus, I want to buy EVERYTHING in the boutique.. I recommend this studio to everyone I know!
I went to one of the free classes to find a studio to join. The classes were a little crowded but the teachers were good. It was relaxin and challenging. However, The male teacher that taught was hitting on me and paying particular attention to me (touching me, complimenting, making an effort to talk with after, but not talking to my sister who was with me). Maybe that doesn't sound very odd, but something didn't feel right. I was wearing my wedding ring and it made me very uncomfortable. My sister noticed it too. I don't want to come back for that reason.
I love going to Holly's Monday noon class! She's awesome and I love the new space. All the classes I've been too are great, the noon classes are less crowded which I like. Great prices for a yoga studio and super chill.
Excellent studio. The studio is professional and clean. Brittany, the owner, is friendly and kind. I feel special going there. This is my favorite studio of all time.
Decently affordable yoga place- student monthly is only $35. The instructors are knowledgeable. Go at your own pace, good for beginners or any level!
