By far the worst public gym I've ever been to. I've almost always gone to Anytime Fitness but I'd rather get a membership ship at planet fitness if this was the only gym near me. Terrible use of space so it feels incredibly over crowded.... more

Enjoy the Active Older Adult classes and planned trips with other neighboring YMCA groups..Great gym experience for all levels of people. Lazy people need to put their equipment back where it belongs and clean up after themselves.... more
The best Ymca in the system.. Johari and Ken lead a wonderful staff who truly care for the members . The members themselves are amazing as well.. Just awesome people...Everyone who works at Northwest is so friendly and welcoming! The facilities are nice and kept clean but it's the staff that makes the place extra special.... more

So helpful and friendly. Room was clean and ready. Breakfast buffet is very nice..Very nice staff, central location, and room layout makes your stay very private. Just know you are near the airport, and light sleepers may have issues a couple of times a night, but it's not bad.... more

I love this YMCA. We have visited TONS of gyms around Donelson/Hermitage area. You may save money, but you won't save on equipment, cleanliness, or staff care. The y has staff constantly cleaning and inspecting machines.... more

We tried to call and the number is out of order, my sister went down there to talk about a family plan and the lady was rude to her and said there isn't one where we could work out 2 at a time, it'd have to be 1 individual plan per family member and we couldn't share.... more

Gym without the hastle. Signed up in less than 5 minutes, got a key fob and access to a very complete gym 24 hrs a day. Plans are month to month. It gets busy, but not overcrowded. Great gym!.... more
This is a historic place. Tennessee State University is the ONLY TRUE BLUE..We were on a field trip to watch the lady tigers play. It was exciting for the kids and sad also, because the girls as hard as they played, lost to Austin Peay.... more
I love this gym, only complaint is I go real early in morning and nobody is ever at the counter. Sometimes I would like to tan or use the massage chair but nobody is there to help. Anyone could walk in bc there never anyone at counter.... more
