I really enjoyed living at LC RiverSouth. It was in a great location - still downtown, but not in a crazy area. Since it is by the parades/festivals, you just have to pay attention to email alerts and road closures during the summer especially. It was near the river, great restaurants, and coffee shops. I really liked the new gym that was put in over the summer as well! Micah gave me my initial tour and he was great, and sold me on living here. Jeremy, Micah, and other staff were very kind and easy to get a hold of. I moved because I bought property elsewhere, but enjoyed my time living there a little over a year. The only thing I will mention is that I lived by the road/alley of S Wall Street. Multiple trash trucks came through between the hours of 4:30 and 7:30 AM almost every day of the week. It woke me up early almost every time, and for that reason, I would have liked to be in a unit not touching that road.
The location was perfect with restaurants, coffee shops and the High St. connector right there in front of and across the street from the apartment. The staff was fantastic, especially Jeremy and Micah who facilitated the move in and any issues (minor) that we might have had. The new gym CODE in the new building was great as well. Seriously considered staying or getting a 2-bedroom, but we found a house last minute that we loved.
I will 100% recommend this apartment and company to anyone looking for a luxury space downtown, but not in the thick of the Short North, which is only a few minutes away anyway.

The apartments are beautiful and the location is just right. I signed this lease site unseen from ten hours away (risky, I know) and it has exceeded my expectations!

My husband and I moved in late June of this year. Micah McClurg gave us our tour and we were sold! Micah was wonderful to work with.
We are very happy with our new home, it is very quiet, great location with the bike/walking paths right out our door. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is always something going on downtown on the weekends, live music, festivals, the list goes on.
We are sold on living downtown!
We've been very happy at LC River south; the apartments are quiet, the staff is friendly and the location is great. I do wish they were more up front about the parking situation- we were told it would be possible to get additional parking in a garage across the street, after we signed our lease three months before moving in. We have now lived there for three months and are still on the waiting list for the garage across the street. That is our only complaint, otherwise everything else has been great.
One of the best apartment communities to live in Columbus. Awesome location especially after the riverside park completed.
Pros: Best location, near everything, bike paths, riverside park, downtown views from the rooftop, excellent maintenance and front office staff, peaceful, very safe area, no noise issues, online rent payment, online maintenance request system.
Cons: A bit pricey, small gym area, extra fee for parking
I can't say enough about the staff at the LC at River South. I have lived here for 4.5 years and even though I probably should have purchased another home/brownstone several years ago, I cannot imagine ever moving!! First of all, I love the fact that I am located right on the river and centralized in such a cool spot. I also love the fact that I live in a gated community with probably the most "green" space in all of downtown Columbus. I have not one, but two private rooftop terraces that offer spectacular views of not only the river but also of Downtown Columbus. Now for the real reason I am writing this review...Micah, Caitlin, Travis, Brian, and we cannot forget BEN!!! These people make my home life perfect!! I work at least 60-70 hours a week and without their help I could not make it happen. I do like to keep a perfect home and I'll admit that I'm a little OCD ( a lot actually ), this amazing team makes sure that I always have my terraces power-washed and clean, they schedule carpet cleaners for me ( they actually let them in and show them out so I do not have to be there) and every little need that I have - they fulfill. I just want them to know how much I appreciate their them and consideration! I LOVE THEM AND MY HOME!!!!!

My wife and I just moved here and absolutely love it! It's a great location and it's very peaceful, no noise complaints here.
After a few days of being in our apartment we realised the pipe connecting the garbage disposal kept on popping out. I went onto the site and requested it to be fixed in the late morning. We popped out to do some shopping and get some lunch and came home to a little note saying it had been fixed. Service was so quick and he did a excellent job!
I put in a maintenance request late one afternoon (around 3pm or so) to have my chirping smoke detector fixed. The issue had been resolved by the time I returned home from work. Everytime I see the maintenance crew they are extremely friendly and helpful. Once they even helped me climb out of my first floor window when my door wouldn't unlock from the inside, and I had an event to go to. They made sure the door was fixed before I returned home.
