I'm going to have to do something that i HATE to do. Retract my previous review of this establishment. As well as change the rating from 1 to 5 stars. Regardless of if you're a boxer getting ready for a fight, all the way to the parents and students just trying to get a little extra motivation in their life so that they can live healthier, learn a little self defense and become part of a community that is unique (in a phenomenal way)... In and of itself. Let me start by saying that I am not speaking for all of the Title Boxing Clubs (like Polaris). I can only give high praise to the establishments that B and Charlie run. To my current knowledge the Henderson Road Title Boxing is the only one (unfortunately) that they do. They have created a clientele and atmosphere that is truly devoid of any type of malice, ego, or judgement. They've essentially achieved what "planet fitness" has (most likely) spent 10's of millions of dollars trying to achieve. Not only that but the gym is by far one of the cleanest gym's that I've had the pleasure of training in. Including any of the gyms that I've trained at. From Angola to Zanzibar and in between. As an individual becomes a regular, going with more and more frequency the staff, owners, and fellow members start to become akin to family. Rather than strangers that you just happen to bump into at any other "normal" gym. You can talk recent boxing and MMA events with them, or ask for any type of fitness and boxing advice and youll always be greeted with a smile and sound & solid advice. I can honestly say that I've never experienced this anywhere else and quite frankly its a nice change of pace that i never expected... they have everything that a beginner would need to start their journey as a boxer, or even as a fitness boxer. From wraps to beginner gloves, to apparel, bags, and personal trainers. Heres where the second wave of praise comes in.... Their trainers are top notch. They can provide you with everything from 1 on 1 session where you are able to do pad work and continue to build and hone your boxing skills, to group classes where the main focus is cardio. To make things even better there are several instructors that teach the group classes so each time that you go in (on different days or different times) you get a different work out, with different personalities that come from different combat backgrounds. As i said, ill have to put my foot in my mouth on this one. Because I prematurely judged this boxing club. as a fellow boxer i would say that no matter what youre looking for. emphasis on no matter what youre looking for. The title boxing club on *Henderson road* is the place for you. hopefully this review does is even a fraction of the justice that it deserves, and maybe will help a few people who read this from getting off the fence and coming in to experience it for themselves.
Cheers,
