Nice facility but pretty sure I dropped a 20 when I signed up for my membership, staff says No but ... im out $20 coming in to check the place out - bad experience.The have been continuously making additions and upgrades to equipment and the space throughout the years.... more
I don't need a lot from my gym to be satisfied. When I visit this branch, I'm always able to find my preferred cardio machine and a free weight bench for the compound lifts that I favor.... more
This gym was ok but it's super shady that they just closed down unexpectedly due to an eviction enforced by the sheriff. There are no other gyms around. Luckily there's a great Pilates studio just down the block so you can still get a good workout.... more

I am a fan of Equinox in other cities and the new Lincoln Common location, however the Lincoln Park location is poorly run and in need of a total makeover. For the fees they charge you're better off joining a local gym for $25 a month because the LPK Equinox location isn't much better.... more

This place is perfect for people looking for a classic gym with a ton of machines, a ton of free weights, and little to no crowds..They signed up my underage son for a year membership, promising he could cancel at any time, then wouldn't cancel for two months.... more
Really nice to get outdoors with some climbing. Great experience with a good mix of easy and difficult routes..Please let us use our own helmets! My wife and I flew from the Seattle area to visit Chicago, read everything about the climbing wall INCLUDING where it says we can use our own gear only to show up and be told we must use the helmets that they provide.... more
The equipment is well maintained and the staff is nice. They have all the standard cardio/weight equipment as well as a great functional fitness area. The locker rooms aren't the best but they get the job done.... more
Very rude staff as a rule at all locations. Many staff members gawk at gym members while they are working out or sit around on their phone. Dirty, old and broken equipment. Suspect positive reviews are fake.... more
Pros: Friendly staff, spacious, clean pool and good variety of equipment. Cons :Water fountain had been scheduled for maintenance for months. The mats are worn and sometimes shereded in half.... more
