I've had an amazing experience at PSL. Everything from the Bike fit from Mark to coaching from Joe. They've helped me not only focus on setting realistic goals, but blasting past them. Thanks to Joe's patient but ever-present coaching style I've been able to work past lapses in training, depression and a host of other obstacles to get back on course in my triathlon training, podium a couple of races, get second overall for the season in my division last year and starting out this year get stronger and faster than I was all last year before even getting into race training mode!

Can't say enough good things. This is definitely the place you want to be if you're thinking of getting in shape and especially if you need multi-sport coaching! I've gotten leaner, faster and stronger... and even though I have a long way to go, I have no doubt they'll help me get there!

I joined PSL originally because I was looking for a trainer who would design a strength program specifically for me and my goals. I wasn't looking to lose weight or get strong for strong sake. I wanted to be able to do all my other sports and activities better without getting injured from ramping up too fast.

It's been almost 2 years and (knock on wood) it must be working as I haven't had an injury since I joined the lab. I'm even taping my knees less, and more confidently taking on more when I face my activities.

In addition to the 'results' it's become a place I am really motivated to go to for friendship and fun - and I wasn't expecting that. We have a sort of gym family and i look forward to seeing everyone every day. I miss it when I'm away. Even when Joe gives me workouts to do when I'm traveling, it doesn't have the same feeling as when i'm in the gym.

I love the workouts here, and the amount of one-on-one time you get with coaches Joe and Mark. As an endurance athlete, I also get a personalized training plan, which is super valuable as it saves me a lot of time vs. doing it on my own. Highly recommended for any runners, triathletes, and weightlifters, or anyone wanting to get in shape.

Six months ago I started coming to Performance Strength Lab on the recommendation of a few friends that were members. I was recovering from a car accident that left me with some nagging pain and weaker than I have ever been. Joe modified the exercises for me until I regained enough strength to be able to complete them. Then four months ago, I started following a running plan he put together for me. I added a weekly yoga class with Nartaya, who is very good about modifying the poses that I couldn't do in the beginning and makes yoga fun and inclusive. After only six months, I have gained a lot of strength, feel more confident at the gym and in my running... and even was able to get a marathon PR at the end of April. The gym members are so welcoming and inclusive. Joe, Mark, Shiloh and Nartaya are great at what they do. Highly recommend this place if you want to improve, whether you are just starting out, starting over or want to get better!

I began training at Performance Strength Lab right after graduating high school to begin my strength training for college cross country and track and field and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I worked with Joe, Mark, and Rachel through out the summer and had the best summer of strength training I had ever had. Performance Strength Lab offered a welcoming environment and I truly felt at home and knew every one supported me and wanted me to get better. I looked forward to every workout and always left feeling a better runner/athlete than I did when I walked in. I highly recommend training at Performance Strength Lab, no matter what your skill level is or what you are training for. This is a place where you can become the best you can be and you have people there to support you.

PSL is not your "normal" gym.. its not cross-fit.. its in a field of its own. The coaches are incredible and extremely knowledgable in health, technique, nutrition and so much more! Coach Mark and Joe are great people and so is everyone that walks through those doors

I've been going to PSL for about 3 months and within only 1 month I noticed how much more stability and control I had while running, both on the roads and on the trails. Overall my strength has improved considerably in this short time. The coaches are fantastic. They pay special attention to proper form and technique, demonstrate each exercise fully, and use easy-to-understand tips/methods to ensure that the exercises are being executed correctly. The group sizes are small, allowing for specific attention to each person. I really enjoy the camaraderie found at PSL as well as the never boring and challenging workouts.

Great Coaching staff. All atheletes are treated with respect no matter the athletes skill level. Well thought out training plans for endurance athletes. All training exercises are fully explained before the exercises are performed. Positive feed back is given regarding form.

We're writing a comprehensive review for Performance Strength Lab (PSL) since we can honestly say they're everything they claim to be, and then some. Our 21-yr old son recently had an MPFL graft replacement surgery for his right knee and is currently in PT/rehab strengthening his knee. Prior to this surgical procedure, our son had been working out consistently with his trainer, Mark, on 1) strengthening his core and lower body in anticipation for joining the Marines, and 2) focusing on strengthening his right knee in preparation of his MPFL surgery to repair the overstretched ligament holding his kneecap in place. His orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist were both amazed at our son's rapid recovery as well as his strength and range of motion achieved so quickly due to the preparation and strength/flexibility training our son had done prior to his MPFL procedure. This was his second such surgery as he had the other knee done approximately two years ago. His range of motion and strength recovery time on the other knee was nowhere close to what he has experienced this time around. We couldn't thank Mark, Joe, and PSL for the work they've done with our son during his pre-surgery strength training. Our son can't wait to get back to his personalized workouts at PSL once medically cleared to return back to the gym with no restrictions. Mark and his co-owner, Joe, both are experts in their field working with athletes of all types, runners, triathletes, etc. If you are looking for "real" trainers, knowledgable in the areas of strength, endurance, nutrition, or a wellness coach to improve your overall health lifestyle, look no further. Just a month into Performance Strength Lab, I was already able to feel changes with myself physically and mentally. I fell in love with everything about fitness and wake up each day excited to work out with the coaches there. The fact that the workouts are already planned for you and someone is always watching to help you with your form and technique, makes everything a lot easier for me. As a busy college student, PSL became one of my priorities and I always made time to go early in the morning or in the afternoon right after class! I did a free trial that they have as an option for anyone considering joining and stuck around ever since!

Love this place! The coaches are great, you get a lot of personal attention. I love that they teach you proper form and technique and patiently work with you until you get it down. If you're looking to train for a specific sport, event, or need to retrain after a injury, this is the place.

I cannot say enough about Coach Beckerley. He has done so much for me in the past 7 months to help me achieve my goal of completing my first Ironman this past weekend in WI. He had the workouts dialed in perfectly to suit just what I needed, working around my family and work schedules. I couldn't have done it without him and the Performance Strength Lab.
