Good old school gym, AC wouldn't hurt though :) clean and well organized, staff is attentive and friendly. Would be nice to have hack squat machine :)))

Everyone has always been really nice and personable which is not always the case with the other gyms i have been to!
A little small but never crowded, nice variety of machines and free weights, the people that work out here are actually focused on fitness and not the gossipy fashion show you see at more...corporate...gyms.

I have been going to Gio's gym for over three years. All ages and fitness levels (I'm 65). Gio and his trainers are very courteous, respectful and helpful. All the equipment you could ever want, including free weights. If you're looking for a great neighborhood gym, whatever your fitness level, this is your gym.

Great old school gym.
I walked in to talk to the owner who was working at the front desk. He was a major jerk and was very short with me. Horrible customer service. Just because you're at a gym doesnt mean you need to act like you're too good to talk or cold and dismissing.
I've been training at this gym for about a week now, and I love it here. My experience the first day: Gio greeted me right at the door, was super friendly and immediately made me feel at home. Also, the parking situation is great. There's plenty of free parking behind the gym- I've yet to have an issue finding a spot.
This gym is great for the more hardcore athletes, and it's a lot less polluted than other hardcore gyms in San Diego. The equipment is old school, there's a fantastic posing room upstairs for the bodybuilder types, and Gio has stocked the floor with everything you need for a successful workout. Everyone here is really nice and it feels like a family. I've trained during the typical business hours, and never once had to wait for a piece of equipment.
Great little gym. Feels like a home gym with a lot more equipment. Great owner and staff. Wish they stayed open a little later but I guess they make us go home to be with family.
Great gym. Well equipped for lifting (bars, bumpers, platforms, rigs, etc). Never crowded. Reasonably priced.
