The Boxing Club has done such an amazing job renovating this space to provide the best possible experience for their members. The team and coaches are truly dedicated. So excited to be part of this fam! Thank you TBC
AO8 had a few bee situations over the past couple years. I saved the bees and relocated them on 2 separate occasions, and did so with them already owing my little bee rescue company money from the year before for preventing bees from moving into the gym. Apparently management can sign for an invoice, but they can't pay.... ??? It's been a dozen calls and multiple emails, along with attempting to track down the mysterious owner, but with 0 results. They dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge.... oh, and ghost us. Pretty pathetic, Art of Eight.
I can't say enough good things about this gym. The staff is super friendly, the instruction is top notch, the workouts are intense, and the facility is great. The only negative thing I have found is that the locker room is a little dirty.
I did a month trial and will be signing up for a full year.

Art of Eight is a very clean and well appointed gym to train. Went in to learn more about them and was greeted with a well informed staff who showed me around and made me feel at home. Check them out.
I've been coming to this gym for about 2 years now. They have a good range of classes for everyone, whether you're just starting out or if you want to compete in amateur/pro fights. I like that the instructors are active pro fighters. There is a very friendly and fun ambiance at this gym.
This place is unreal. I've been here on a six month internship taking boxing classes. All of the coaches are great. I highly recommend this place. I've mostly worked with Giovani Santillan. He's a great guy and an even better instructor. Thanks AO8!
A08 has an amazing atmosphere and the coaches, owners, and members are all welcoming and treat you like family. In their Muay Thai classes they make sure you are ready to "move up" to the next (skill) level (class). They focus on the fundamentals and proper technique.
Great crew here! I'm visiting as a guest in San Diego for 10 days and I'm on my way to my third class there. Very welcoming with phenomenal fitness and instructional boxing and Muay Thai classes for varying skill levels. Highly recommend Ao8!

Art of Eight is more than just a gym, it has a real family atmosphere. The trainers are not only skilled and talented but they are approachable and genuinely care about the training they offer and the technique that is being taught. There is something to be said when you are receiving training from world champions!
The class schedule is flexible and not only has times throughout the day but also a variety of classes and different fight styles to take. I cancelled my other gym memberships because there was no longer a need to have them.
Aside from changing my body and giving me more self confidence, because I know I could defend myself, I have made amazing friends. I can't imagine ever leaving
