One of my primary goals is Great Health! Since the first of the year I've been inspired by good friends... a few special ones who've shown me the value in getting into shape. Since mid-February, roughly, I've lost 14 pounds and gotten much stronger primarily through working with Jessica at Janae Luxe Pilates Studio! Some of my friends are likely sick of seeing me check-in there on Facebook or at the Convention Center Stairs... but it's been fun, and hard, and rewarding.... I've laughed, cried, almost given up, been amazed at what I could do... so many emotions! Proud sometimes and sometimes so discouraged that it's likely too little, too late, but I know that it's not! This continues... Oatmeal with Blueberries & Bananas this morning and tomorrow, Pilates again tomorrow morning, too! I'm excited about continuing!!!
* UPDATE: 6/13/18. See that I wrote this 3 years ago, wow! Still going, now for TRX and Pilates. Plus we do the Convention Center Stairs on most Monday evenings! I love Jessica, the results, and that I'm still at it! Haven't stuck with any other form of exercise this long ever ... And I turned 59 in May. We joke often that my plan is to keep this up and really be in good shape when I turn 80!!! So far, so good!
