Every teacher at Pura Vida is amazing and skilled with plenty to share. The classes are challenging, artfully crafted and centering. My fave is the Set Sequence class on Monday and Wednesday, love the flow!
Pura Vida Yoga is one of the best centers I have ever been! The classes are amazing and teachers are very professional. The atmosphere of this studio is wonderful! I highly recommend this place for anyone, beginners as well as advanced practitioners. Thank you for creating this space!
I bought a month unlimited to try out the studio and absolutely loved it. The space is clean and inviting. I was completely impressed by the instructors' knowledge and would highly recommend the studio.
Pura Vida is a great place to go for yoga. It offers a local, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The facilities are neat and clean and the yoga instructors are knowledgeable and are there for you when you need a push to go a step further on your practice.

Teachers and staff are well versed in their craft. Very helpful, will guide you skillfully and gently push you to your edge. Great space, great location and the studio offers a variety of classes for all skill levels. Truly a happy zen environment to be in, especially when you need a break from the craziness of everyday life. I'm so thankful to be apart of this community!

Love it here. Classes are offered several times throughout the day. Makes it easy for me to squeeze a class in between clients. Classes vary from all different levels. Also, love that each teacher is different and unique, making each practice a brand new experience.

Love this studio! Pura Vida has the most amazing staff and teachers. Alignment and breath driven vinyasa classes, as well as yin and gentle flow classes are available. The teachers here are incredible, and they will no doubt help you deepen your practice. In addition to the regular scheduled yoga classes, this studio always has something going on, such as chakra alignment workshops, glow in the dark yoga parties, yoga retreats, yoga teacher trainings, beach outings, and so much more. Come practice with us!

The new student local intro special is amazing~ You can take unlimited classes for up to 14 days for just $29. Such a deal! Even if your vacationing in the area, they have a great deal for $45 which includes 3 classes and free mat rentals. The studio has a small retail area that includes everything you would need for yoga: mats, leggings, tanks, water bottles, towels, incense, and even mala beads. No other studio compares to Pura Vida!

Clean, well run studio! Teachers are attentive and provide classes for all levels. Love the decor, and the whole space is well ventilated.
Great studio - very authentic, peaceful and low key. The practice strikes a great balance between physical, mental and spiritual movement. Definitely would recommend it.
Over the last 3 years, I have enjoyed all the yoga classes I have taken at Pura Vida. The studio is compact, clean, and cute. The instructors are uniformly good. I would recommend the studio to family and friends.
The $2 mat rentals and a 30 day unlimited intro pass for $30 make this a great studio for those of us at conferences. The atmosphere and teachers (and comfortable "warm" (80F) studio) make it stand out as a great vinyasa option regardless. Highly recommended.
I have been doing Yoga for 25 years and had delightful opportunity to try a class at this lovely new Yoga Studio. The studio itself is beautiful, very welcoming to new comers and particularly clean and orderly. The Level 1 class taught by Xenia was very positive and acommodating for each person's ability and needs. She not only knows how to facilitate the best experience for each individual, but designs a practice that makes your body feel great, and makes you want to return! I would highly recommend it!
LOVE this studio! Last week I was on business travel for a convention in San Diego. Stumbled upon this studio a few blocks from the convention hotels. They were so welcoming and helpful to several of us visiting...without mats! I managed to squeeze in 5 classes in 6 days. They offered us a great introductory offer at a super value. I got to take classes from three different teachers - Megan, Heather and Mike....all three were challenging in different ways. I cant wait to return to San Diego to stretch again with the folks at Pura Vida Yoga!
I visited the studio twice while in town for a conference. I was so grateful to find a studio that offered 6 am classes, had mats you could borrow for free, and allowed visitors to take advantage of the "$20 for 2 week" new student special. Sarah and Laura were both very welcoming and friendly. The classes were straightforward flows, with options to modify up or down as you needed. No pressure, or competition, just good yoga! The studio space is very clean and calming, despite being in the center of the bustling Gaslamp district. Will be back next time I am in town!
I started coming to Pura Vida in March 2015 After taking a few random yoga classes. I decided to dive a little deeper in practice and came across this awesome studio. I have taken classes with just about all of the instructors and I love all of them, they each have something different to offer. Everyone is super helpful and nice when it comes to teaching. I tell everyone to try this place out not just for the yoga but for the other workshops they offer . The boutique has lots of useful clothing and yoga related items. Swing by if you're in the neighborhood . I reccomend this studio if you are a beginner like me or a more seasoned yogi...You will fall in Love:) Thank you to all the staff at Pura Vida!
