I was interested in kettlebells but was intimidated in trying something new after not consistently working out for over a year and a half. A friend recommended Hillcrest Kettlebells and after speaking with Farrah I was excited to give it a try. Farrah's personal training is incredibly helpful and she is patient. Group classes are small and friendly. I have lost weight and increased strength. The best part is I have toned my butt and thighs which can be difficult to do with the average gym workout! If your are looking for a full body workout that produces great results in a friendly environment Hillcrest Kettlebells is the place!

I have been training with Farrah and George at Hillcrest Kettlebells for almost 2 years now and I consider it an essential part of my regimen. I have tried many different fitness modalities including weightlifting, running, martial arts, hiking, yoga, pilates, etc. and I find kettlebells to be unique.

From my very first class, which included a thorough evaluation of my form and posture, I noticed that kettlebell exercises highlighted a major deficiency in my technique - moving energy from my lower body through my waist to my upper body. So it not only trains "the core" but facilitates the functional transfer of power throughout the body, not unlike T'ai Ch'i. With Farrah and George's careful attention and guidance, I have made great strides in this area which has significantly benefited all my other training.

If you haven't tried kettlebells yet, do so immediately and Hillcrest Kettlebells is the perfect place to start. If you've dabbled a bit but haven't made a commitment to kettlebell training, take the plunge and sign up for some classes. Farrah and George's knowledge and patience will show you exactly what this type of training can do for your body and mind. And even if you already train regularly, take it to the next level with a couple of great teachers who literally live and breathe kettlebell training.

I give Hillcrest Kettlebells my highest recommendation for safe and effective kettlebell training. You won't be disappointed.

I started working out at Hillcrest Kettlebells just over three years ago. As a former college athlete I was looking for a workout program that combined strength, cardio, and something that was fun and engaging. A coworker suggested that I try Hillcrest Kettlebells and I was instantly into it 100%. The small group classes give you enough one-on-one feedback to correct your form and feel more like personal training sessions than group classes. Farrah and George are truly passionate about fitness, health and overall wellness. They are constantly attending continuing education classes and are active in both Strong First and the RKC Kettlebell communities. My flexibility, strength and conditioning have not been this well developed since I was playing rugby in college. I find kettlebells challenging and a tough workout can be conducted in 30 minutes to an hour. I recently took the one day HKC (Hard Style Kettlebell) certification class and test and I was overly prepared by Farrah and George and passed with flying colors. I highly recommend Hillcrest Kettlebells for anyone who wants a fun, cardio and strength training program.

Kettlebells are a great workout! The class combines cardio and strength training into one efficient workout. I'm definitely a beginner, but I've gotten so much stronger over the three months that I've been doing this.

Farrah and her hubby George are totally focused on form, making sure that everyone does the exercises correctly for the maximum benefits and to make sure no one gets injured. They're also both RKC certified - SO IMPORTANT! Lots of folks "teach" kettlebell, but you definitely want to learn from certified instructors.

The classes are tough, but they're go-at-your-own-pace, so I never feel bad if I have to sit something out and catch my breath for a minute.

Farrah offfers individual personal training sessions and group classes, and the prices are so affordable. It's a great deal for the workout you get!

Farrah and George have perfect personalities for being trainers. They're upbeat, friendly, and totally encourage you to do your own personal best. I love these classes and plan on keeping with it! I recommend them to anyone who's looking for a great workout.
