I joined Synergy because I was looking for a new HIIT studio to join and the first thing that got my attention was the PRICES for memberships. Compared to all the other studios in San Diego, this was by far the most affordable!
It's been over a year now that I have been going to Synergy and I never would have thought I could feel so at home while working out at this studio. The trainers are amazing and so encouraging and energetic during each session. It's so much more than just a HIIT class! Stability and balance are also incorporated into the workouts, making each session so unique that I have never taken the same class twice! I actually get excited about working out with such a great support system around me.
Sofie(the owner) has such a passion for everyone at Synergy. She truly wants each person in class to give 110% and to leave each workout feeling their best. She likes to keep it fun in the studio and switches up the music and seems to always have a theme for each workout. She keeps it interesting & exciting and I LOVE that. She also does monthly mixers at different breweries in OB for everyone to mingle outside of the studio and even has beach workouts on the weekends sometimes! She is all about the OB community and makes Synergy feel like a family!
She has gotten to know me on such a personal level that I feel that she is more of a friend rather than just the business owner/trainer.
I have never felt so strong and comfortable in my own skin before and its all thanks to Synergy.

I love this place! I've been coming here since they opened just over a month ago and it's been an awesome experience so far. Sofia and Tim, the owners, are so warm and welcoming and the passion and dedication they've put into opening this gym really shows. They've already been able to develop a wonderful sense of community in a short time; the members known each other by name and are so supportive and encouraging of one another through the workouts. My favorite class is Power House which is an energizing blend of H.I.I.T and strength training all in 45 minutes. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun yet challenging workout. Come check it out, you won't regret it!
