Bird Rock Yoga is a fantastic studio.
I came to BRY after only taking a handful of yoga classes at another studio, and being very new to Vinyasa flow in general. Practicing at BRY has been a really positive addition to my training routine, and to my daily life.
I've taken class with around half of the instructors here, and every one has been talented, professional, courteous, respectful, and extremely welcoming. Not just during class, either, I've noticed the instructors here always make themselves available for comments and questions both before and after class. Also, since I'm new, I like that the classes are *moderately* heated instead of the 102+ degree temperatures in play at a lot of PB-area studios. Maybe I'll work up to that one day, but the mid-80's temperature they use here has been perfect for me so far.
There's a good mix of class styles available at many different times of the day, which works really well with my odd schedule (does anyone else need to go to yoga at 11:00am one day, 5:30pm the next day, and then 7:45pm the day after?). Also, the studio is located in a really accessible spot off Grand ave. with a big, easy-to-use parking lot.
The clientele here is really mixed, which I think speaks to the quality of the classes, and of the instruction. I don't find this to be a niche studio catering to a specific group of people or trends, but instead a really inviting, non-judgmental environment open to all.
Classes purchased here are also usable at their sister studio downtown in Cortez Hill, which is a great NON-heated option when I want to practice without the added heat.
But, really, the best way to describe how I feel about this studio is that I always look forward to coming here.
