No other studio like it. I tried other places but they weren't The Rush. Second to none!
Great local spin studio. They have a wide range of classes for all types of spinners. I prefer the interval classes for a more traditional spin workout but their other classes always have great music and very upbeat. They have great hours for people who start work early! My favorite teachers are Tee and Sheri!

Zach and Tee are the best!
Great community with inspirational instructors. The choreography is always on beat; equating the ride to a dance party on the bike. Even on days when I don't feel like working out, i can convince myself to head to the rush because it's so much fun!
Great little boutique studio that packs a lot of punch in their 45 minute ride! The studio is comfortable and pretty inviting. The music and energy level is always high in the spin room. The bikes have monitors which I like to be able to see if I'm on the right gear and if I'm pushing myself hard enough. The only downsides are that I wish they provided shoes instead of renting and only one changing area and bathroom. Overall worth giving this place a spin!
It was such a treat to see Sheri in the evening when she subbed an evening class recently. Sheri's 5:45a class is well worth getting up for and a great way to start your day. If sleeping in on Saturday is not your thing, Tee's class is not for the faint of heart, but will get your weekend started off on the right foot. Zach's evening classes on Thursdays have been part of my weekly routine for two years. Overall, The Rush Indoor Cycling Studio boasts a great front-desk staff and a welcoming environment. It is a great place to get spin into your routine.
I absolutely LOVE this Rush Cycle location. The studio, classes, music, and instructors are SO on point. The ambiance is incredibly friendly but also encouraging to keep going on the bike even when you feel you've reached your limit. Everyone is so, so, so friendly too. I am not at all a morning workout person, yet the wonderful energy of this studio made me want to be present for all 5:45 and 6:45 am classes.
The Rush Rides are very fun (basically a dance party on the bike!) However, I'm a big fan of the Interval Rides (especially with Tee!). I'm training for a 70-mile bike race, and I've found the Interval Rides to be perfect as fun add-ons to my training regimen.
In short, Rush Cycle at La Jolla is phenomenal. This is the place to be for a fun, energetic, and empowering workout.
I love Rush Cycle! I've tried multiple different instructors and class times and all have been excellent. The atmosphere is high energy and positive and the studio is clean and bikes are very high quality. I also love the 45 minute class option, as I can get an efficient, kick-ass workout!!

Rush Cycle La Jolla is fantastic. They have enthusiastic and motivational instructors, a variety of classes including 45-minute classes, 60-minute classes, interval (road bike simulation) classes and theme classes. As soon as I start to feel like I've mastered a class, there is a new challenge that keeps me sweating: higher gears, faster jogs, longer climbs. I always leave class feeling like I really earned my chocolate, bacon, cali burrito, etc. The front desk staff and instructors are extremely approachable, so call or pop in anytime to learn about the Rush family.

This is my favorite place to take a spin class.
The instructors are great and very high energy. The music choices keep you pumped and motivated throughout the entire class. They provide towels for you (which you will definitely need!) and you can rent spin shoes for 1$. If you are new to the class, the instructors will help you adjust the bike and clip in. These classes are hard, but I enjoy every second of it! I am always sore afterwards but feel really good.
I usually don't have a problem finding a parking spot in Bird Rock. There is only one bathroom and one changing room, so if you have to get ready before class, be sure to leave enough time for that. Bike numbers can also be difficult to see when you enter the class, so check the chart before or don't be afraid to check with an instructor.
