By far the coolest, and best yoga studio I have ever been to. The sound healing classes are so powerful. The vinyasa and yin are great! Bird Rock is like a Yoga Retreat outside! OB is phenomenal with the gong and all the instruments. I love them both and it's the best of both worlds. I used to do yoga 3-4 times a month, now I'm 3-4 times a week! I LOVE this studio!
I highly recommend Riff's Yoga Studio in Bird Rock! There are many classes to choose from and all the instructors are wonderful teachers. The outdoor deck is a beautiful place to practice with the trees and plants surrounding you. One of my favorite classes is the vinyasa with live music:)
I have been practicing yoga for at least 10 and years and at riffs for about 1 year. I chose to practice here because of the variety of offerings as well as the music/sound healing emphasis. Outdoor deck is the perfect venue and always warm year round. Guides, especially those helping introduce new styles of yoga, are clearly dedicated to their work. They have chosen guides that are so professional but also approachable and thoughtful. Riffs is a perfect supplement to my fitness routine. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I love this studio. I recently moved to San Diego and Riffs was one of the first places I found that made my move a bit sweeter. There are several teachers and even if I often saw a different one for the same class every one is really good and prepared. Some classes are very special and being outdoor on a deck is really nice. I also love that you can buy packages of entrances for really good prices. This place really rocks, it's a real gem in La Jolla.
Riffs is a home away from home. Fantastic and kind staff, beautiful deck/practice space, and overflowing good energy. You won't be disappointed trying a class with any of the amazing teachers at Riffs. So much love in and outside Riffs' walls.
Riffs Yoga in Birdrock is an incredibly special place. The ambience of the redwood deck surrounded by trees is peaceful and lovely. This is such a safe and welcoming place thanks to the fabulous instructors as well as the other yoga practitioners. I initially went using a two-week introductory offer, and I became a member immediately thereafter. Although I am new to yoga, I have brought friends with me on several occasions who have been practicing for years, and they agreed this studio is unlike any other. The yoga at this studio is top notch. They have every style to fit everyone's needs and the outside deck adds to the experience immensely. I personally love the combination of yoga and music that happens here. Saturday morning they combine vinyasa with acoustic guitar live music and Tuesday nights they have yin yoga with sound healing. It really is a magical place.

I've been taking Troy's Bheemashakti class every Tues + Thurs for about a month now and loving it. Super-knowledgeable and very patient with my rather inflexible body. Taking his 7-day Intensive next week...stoked.

I've visited many yoga studios around the world, and Riff's is by far my favorite. The instructors are all great, the atmosphere is serene and welcoming. I can't say enough great things about this place.

I've had nothing but a great experience at Riffs. All the teachers and staff are extremely friendly and offer great modifications for any level of yoga. The outside deck setting makes your yoga class a unique experience. I look forward to coming to each class!

I love the live music yoga, outdoor yoga and wide range of acoustic guitars that Riffs carry. I signed up for a 8 pack of ukulele lessons and had a great experience with Russel, one of the music instructors there. He taught me to play songs that I wanted to learn, which made it really enjoyable. I became a yoga member and love going to all the different styles of classes. Doing yoga on the outdoor deck surrounded by plants makes the whole experience amazing!
What a wonderful place! From the decor, the musical instruments everywhere, to the beautiful deck in the back, and the live music! A small piece of heaven!

They have everything you need and then you step out into what feels like a secret little jungle hidden in busy San Diego. A great variety of classes and excellent teachers that know their stuff and most importantly share lots of love. Thank you riffs!
My Husband loves the yoga at Riffs. Our boys leaned to play ukulele from Tylor and Russell and they are hooked. The ukulele is a great instrument because it is portable, not too expensive and even beginners can make it sound great, Tylor and Russell are both wonderful instructors who were very encouraging and really taught the boys a lot. Everyone at Riffs from "The Steves" to the rest of the music and yoga instructors are very welcoming and friendly. It's a very cools spot with great people.
