I started going to yoga a couple years back because someone suggested I start to help with my health and stress. I visited a few studios, but none of them compared to Elite Yoga. I really enjoy the community that is vividly present whenever you walk in for class. It took a few different classes for me to find the one I liked, but I persisted and the owner was very helpful in finding a class that was perfect for me. As a college student, I used to go to the yin classes on Sunday nights out of convenience but am sad that they are no longer available! However, I go to the Monday yin class now which is perfect because I don't have class until later. I love how cute the studio looks and it is always kept clean. I rarely have any problems, but if and when I do the customer service is very helpful. They answer fast and always are looking to help their clients in any way possible! I suggest this studio to anyone and everyone who is in the area or just visiting for a couple weeks. It is definitely worth the drive. Thank you Elite Yoga for always putting your best foot forward!
I love this studio! Since coming here, I've been inspired to expand my practice in ways I didn't even know was possible. I feel strong and refreshed after every class. And the instructors are so helpful and welcoming! They create an atmosphere where students are comfortable to grow their practice at their own pace. 10/10!!!
This studio was referred to me by my physical therapist who has been treating me for vertigo. I did not think that yoga could be applicable to mine or other medical conditions.... Thank goodness I was wrong. After 12 sessions, I finally regained my equilibrium and can get back to my previous active life. Many thanks to my therapist and to Elite for their care.
Regenerating! I have been experiencing joint pain for many years which kept me from pursuing yoga classes. To the insistence of my doctors, I joined a beginner's class with Alex. I was shocked that I was able to finish the class! Alex patiently positioned and re-positioned me to achieve the correct pose, before moving into the next one. Though there were several other class participants, I got the sense I was getting a one-on-one session. And like that, I began to feel more flexible, less pain, and more energy. I'm forever grateful to Elite Yoga.
Honestly, this is the best studio in San Diego. Small classes. Intimate experience. Great flow. Awesome for beginners. Beautiful eucalyptus and lemongrass scents if you're lucky! And amazing instructors. Come one come all.
If you are looking for a clean studio full of friendly people and great yoga then this is your spot! I alway feel so welcome when coming to Elite yoga and the instructors are fabulous. They do a great job tailoring the yoga class to all levels, offering lots of options and hands on adjustments for those that would like them. A true gem of a studio!

It was my first experience here and loved it! It's super clean which is a must for me and also beautiful renovated. The owner, Alex taught the class and she's great!

I moved to San Diego just for the summer and was so lucky to find these studios. I am in between both locations so have been going to both frequently and love them both. The teachers here are absolutely incredible and lead classes that are accommodating to any level of student. I really feel like I've been able to grow my practice since coming to elite yoga. One of my favorite teachers, Charie, likes to say something along the lines of: we practice kindness to ourselves so we can then practice kindness in the world. That's really stuck with me and is an intention I will continue to use in my practice moving forward. I'll really miss this place!

The teachers are warm and encouraging but I always leave class feeling the results of a great workout. The classes are always thoughtfully prepared and each class is different each week, so I never get bored.
I have taken Vinyasa, Yin, and Yin/ Yang classes and plan to try several more.
I started taking yoga classes at the La Jolla studio a year ago. I loved coming to this studio, I wanted more classes on the schedule to accommodate my busy mom schedule, the owner was quick to add classes. I stopped going to La Jolla since I moved North and now with the Carmel Valley studio open, I am hooked! Again, I asked the owner for more classes to accommodate my schedule, again she said, of course! Wow, I am totally enjoying the variety of classes. My favorite so far is their new Tuesday class with Melissa Penza! This is a must class to take. It is an intro to Ashtanga. Melissa has got to be one of my favorite instructors at Elite Yoga. I gave this studio a try, and I am glad I did and I am forever taking class here. All the instructors I have taken class have this kindness about their teaching. My kids are doing teen yoga. I typically do not write reviews, but they really earned this one.
