Last thursday the phone rang at my business (Hermosa Lock & Safe) and it was Ashley Moraes the manager of Crossfit Horsepower wanting us to come to her business to give an estimate , ours to be one of numerous estimates looking for the best price , she was informed that we were booked solid and we could get out sometime next week , she persisted and Roxanne told her she would check to see if we could fit her in the next day,,on the morning of the next day Ashley Moraes called to see if we could fit her in with an appointment that day and she was told that we were booked up and the earliest we could get out was next week , Ashley Moraes then stated she would have to find someone else to do it.......We have never done any work at Crossfit Horsepower nor did we make any promise of an appearance at Crossfit Horsepower , we only answered our phone when Ashley Moraes called and we let her know that we were booked up , Ashley Moraes of Crossfit Horsepower then for some unknown reason decided to go to social media and attempt to disparage another local business (Since 1975) you can find Ashley Moraes's baseless review (complete with embellishments by googling Hermosa Lock and Safe and opening up under google my business... under Ashley Moraes's one star review is my response to Ashley Moraes ...see for yourself how baseless her review is ...Thanks for reading and check it out ...it" been 3 days since my response and still no response from Ashley Moraes

The facilities are nice - they have hot and cold tubs, showers, towel service and all the equipment you might need for your workouts. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; although most of the members don't really talk to you. The WODs were hard and challenging but fun. Last time I trained there, you couldn't drop the weights because the neighbors complained. Not sure if that's changed.
Dropped in while I was on a long layover from LAX. Facilities were luxurious to say the least and the coach/members were super welcoming as well. Highly recommended!
First and foremost CrossFit is amazing! At CrossFit Horsepower in Hermosa Beach the team there does a fantastic job of making CrossFit a blast! It starts with the warm, pleasant, and congenial greetings from Ashley; along with the professionalism, expertise, and friendliness of all the coaches. They really do phenomenal job of making you feel welcome and comfortable.
The facilities are practically brand new! The showers are awesome, the recovery room is great(Hot and cold baths), and it's 3 blocks from the beach! Its great for doing WOD's every now and then on the beach! They also have a huge parking lot in Hermosa, which is very rare and very important if you know the area.
I just can't say enough about the coaches we work with (Aaron and Dan)! I could have never imagined the level of commitment they give to all the members of this box! Even if you are here on your first day or competing for the games, everyone gets the proper help they need to meet and exceed there goals!
I have been there almost 2 months now and the experience has been beyond what I had imagined. My fitness level has far been exceeded. I have made countless new friends in this community and look forward to going back everyday!
If you are at all interested in trying CrossFit, look no father than CrossFit Horsepower in Hermosa Beach. It never hurts just to check it out few times, but I guarantee you will be hooked!
Great Crossfit gym. I have been to over a dozen crossfit gyms in as many states traveling for work. This place is top-tier for sure. Welcomed me with a full tour and was very helpful when I walked in. This is not the case at most crossfit spots. The coach really worked us slowly into the WOD and was great about helping even seasoned athletes improve. This is my new joint when I am in L.A. Great crew!
