White House Pilates is incredible! I have been going for two months and I am totally hooked! I am getting stronger and the classes are so much fun. Every instructor is just incredible and every class I have gone to is different and therefore very challenging. The small class size ensures you are getting the instructor's attention and she is making sure you are doing the moves correctly and getting the most out of very class. I highly recommend WHP!

White House Pilates ROCKS! A couple of weeks ago I confirmed that I lost 1 whole size--and I only just discovered this place--and signed up--in August!! For about 10 years now, I've been very serious about excercising regularly (4x/week), therefore I'm very particular about the types of workouts and gyms/studios in which I am willing to invest my time and money. One of the main things I look for is a challenging trainer--ALL of the trainers at White House Pilates are TOUGH (in a RESULTS kind of way) and I've seen changes throughout my entire body. It takes A LOT to make my muscles sore (especially my abs), and somehow they make it happen regularly. Caroline and her trainers (all friendly & professional) have years of formal pilates training as well as professional athletic training so I'm not ever concerned with their expertise--it shows in each and every class, week after week, month after month. The location is much easier than it sounds: there is an ample parking structure across the street (coins or credit cards accepted) AND it is tucked away from prying eyes. I'm SO ecstatic that I found this gem! White House Pilates is worth EVERY penny and every minute!!

I started pilates two years ago, when Caroline offered me a free class to try. Afterwards, I signed up immediately and two years later I am still coming and will continue to do so!

White House Pilates is the best studio in the south bay and one of the best I've ever been to in Southern California. There are three convenient locations and a variety of class times and levels that fit any schedule whether you work out morning or evening, weekend or weekday. My personal favorite studio is Redondo because it has a parking lot and is a more intimate studio space with lots of natural light.

The classes are no more than five people, which allows for a very personal experience with the instructor. The instructors are all about classical alignment which eliminates injury and allows you to get more out of the workout. I personally have overcome tendonitis and a persistent lower back injury thanks to taking Pilates at White House regularly over the last four years. Other studios that I've been to have not focused as much on proper alignment and making sure I'm doing all of the exercises correctly and I feel that I'm more prone to injury that way. White House also offers Tower, mat and jump board classes in addition to the traditional reformer, so it's fun to break it up and try something new. Regardless of the class you take, Pilates will make you stronger without making you look bulky, and make you longer and leaner.

I have had many good instructors at White House, but my favorite is Eva; she is so knowledgeable and makes every class unique and different. She is also able to cater to your exact skill level so you never feel like you're taking an easy class even if you may be more advanced than others. Alternatively I think she does the same for those who are newer to Pilates. Sara is also very knowledgeable and I've enjoyed all of her classes as well. Svetlana is another favorite, as she really listens to the clients and tries to make your class unique based on your individual feedback and what you want out of the class. She is one of the more hands-on instructors I have had, which I really appreciate.

Lastly, the customer service is excellent from the owner Caroline. When I've had any questions or a problem with my online account she responds quickly and always resolves my issue. The prices are to be expected from a first class studio, but there are frequently deals. All in all, this has been my go-to workout for the duration of my time in the South Bay, and I have recommended it to friends and family members. It's a must!
