I have been with Fitness Together for 4 years, Fitness Together is seriously 1:1 Training , the trainer does not take his/her eyes off for the entire session . The point is that it assures safety and correctness of the technique that I (or anyone) am engaged in. The trainers listen to your goals and concerns and they devise a program tailored to those goals and concerns. I've seen sessions here whose goals are widely diverse, e.g., physical wellness, marathons, muscle strength and speed for basketball at a professional level, knee recovery, or, in my case, strength and flexibility. But I'm 70 years old, so I'm not looking to do planks and pushups, although I now EASILY do them because of this program. THIRD, listening . I mentioned "listening"earlier, but it is critical when it comes to trainers working with anyone's body. There isn't any question about challenging us, but if I--or anyone--hesitates to take on a technique because, say, the knees aren't working right that day, or my shoulder is unusually tender for some reason, the trainers don't tell you to suck it up or just push on. Instead, they figure out a different exercise that will come close to producing the same good effect.
