  • First of all it is huge! Lots of room for classes and special interests. I saw a gym, weight room, racket ball room i think, really nice child care area. I went there for swim classes for our grandchildren. There were many classes going on at once enabling a broad age and ability range to learn at one time. So our 3 children attended the same hour. Saving time for us! There is a nice warm pool for young children and seniors too.
  • The Y has been wonderful for my family! Kids love child watch, and classes. Hubby and I have never had trouble finding a machine so we can get a workout! Staff has been helpful and pleasant :)

  • We have loved the little gym and been going since my daughter was 5 months old (nearly 2 years)) We took a few months off and when we came back for a make-up class the instructor had remembered my daughters name and helped her to re-establish confidence on the mat. All of the instructors are wonderful- so fun, energetic and helpful. For little ones with a parent- the classes are a great bonding opportunity and the parent gets to participate the whole time. My favorite little gym story that I feel really shows how caring they are, was when I had a miscommunication with our nanny and she ended up attending the wrong class- as it turns out it had been a graduation day for the class that had slightly older kids- rather than turning them away the little gym instructors included our daughter in the ceremony and she came home with a certificate with such a thoughtful message that we hung up in her room. She is still proud of it! This place is the most thoughtful and inclusive childrens center you can find!
  • I cannot express how happy I am with the party we had there. I purchased the party for my nieces 6th birthday. The two girls hosting were amazing. If any of the kids were scared or uncertain of doing any of the activities they didn't push, they didn't make them feel weird, they just encouraged and let them be themselves. One of my favorite things that they did was when they had the giant parachute and they were playing popcorn. They put a bunch of bouncy balls into it and the kids tried to get them out. My niece had everybody stop and said she had a really great idea. The two girls running it stopped everything to listen to what my niece had to say. My niece wanted to be the popcorn. She wanted to walk in the middle of the parachute and have everybody try to bounce her out. Of course, this wouldn't be possible. Of course it was a silly idea. But guess what. The two girls hosting said LET'S DO IT! They then tried 4 times to pop my niece out of the parachute. My niece had the time of her life. They empowered her to be herself, even if it seemed crazy. And they have no idea how much my niece needed that. Thank you for encouraging and empowering children to be children. This birthday was truly one for the books.

  • This review has nothing to do directly with the management or the facility itself as much as it does with Anytime Fitness as a brand, and a company. I signed up 9/21/19, my job changed and I wasn't able to make it to this location nor had the time to do so as I am frequently out of town or the state, I was paying $50/mo for a month-to-month "contract". On 10/21/19 exactly one month later I emailed in to notify management I needed to cancel, I was given a response that I needed to hand deliver this request to the location (can't do, out of town), or physically mail a letter to an entirely different location in Elma, WA and that this would serve as a 30 day notice......Ok, I knew this would be a process and understood that. I sent the letter IMMEDIATELY to the Elma, WA location, waited, waited...waited some more, no response, no nothing. I was not given a phone number to contact, just an address. So come Nov. I was charged what SHOULD have been my final monthly charge, I accepted this and moved on. Then there was another attempted charge, at this point I'd had enough and advised my bank to block charges and provided them with proof of my cancellation request along with Anytime Fitness's service contract stating the exact above mentioned steps of cancellation. Now I'm getting phone calls by the original gym location, emails (which I responded to with everything I''ve stated thus far and again, never got a response) and from just recently ABC Financial - so at this point I'm a bit irate considering they are attempting to send me to collections for their BS. The reason this company only allows PAPER MAIL requests of cancellation is because they can use the excuse they never received anything from me (which they did try to state, but I'm not an idiot and I have sent mail/receive mail confirmations). You know what doesn't get lost in a mail bag? EMAILS!!! its 2020 and this company operates like a mom and pop shop. Its basically a scam to a point. Again no real issues with management themselves, or the facility, however this is ridiculous and OVERLY expensive, shop around people, their prices are not reflective of the competition which is lower and doesn't suck you into a two year contract to obtain said lower prices.
  • This place is amazing! Brand new and they did such a great job with it. So many options for machines and cardio. Love this place

  • This is hands down the best gym I have ever been to. I have been a member of all the gyms around, and I love this place, It's clean, Never crowded. I can always get to a machine or the weights I want to. They have lots of Awesome classes and great personal trainers to fit your needs, plus a full time cleaning staff. ( I don't like dirty gym's like the Y). I am concerned about writing a good review and then too many people going there though, but good business needs to be recognized.
  • Awesome place

  • I was with Heather for almost a year on Legacy. I loved cheering with them until I started getting rude comments from the staff after i didn't attend a practice. It was a Friday night, and there was a bug floating around the gym, so there was about 3/4 of the team absent. Only about 5-10 girls came to practice that night, but I was not one of them. I wasn't going to attend practice that night, because I did not want to catch any sickness that may have been lingering that night. My family has a close family friend, whose daughter is a member of the South Elite Diamonds Elite cheer squad. She had asked me if I had anything planned for that night, and so I told her my situation. She told me that her mother had talked to her about me, saying how i had a talent and extremely good form, and that she should take me to an open gym at south elite that night. I said yes, and packed my stuff to go. I had a good time at the gym, and I was extremely excited to tell my friends about the experience. And after that night, I had told Heather that I had gone, and she didnt seem to have anything wrong with it. I was telling my friends that I had went and they had a really nice gym and i also told them about what the gym had. Apparently, people had overheard and were telling the coaches that I was talking about leaving because "South Elite was so much better than Legacy". And then Heather's husband had started making snotty comments like "Why dont you just leave", "How about you just go to SE since they are just so much better than us". I was on the verge of crying because of the disrespect. Previously that night I had also raised my voice at a coach, saying that I felt forced to do a skill and I didnt want to do it because of fear. I just found it so inappropriate for a grown man to be shaming a child that way. They own a buisiness and that is definitely not the way to treat your customer. I felt scared to go back to gymnastics and cheer that week, so I ended up quitting, and I am currently searching for a new squad. It is a great team, but with such disrespectful staff.
  • I was with Heather for 3 years. she was a great coach taught me most of the stuff I know and got me out of my comfort zone. when she was still a coach for Active Stars after nationals she decided to quit and make her own team, sending personal invites to everyone on her team at Active Stars excluding 3 people including me. This absolutely broke my heart and took away all my desire to cheer from then on and I quit as of a year ago. recently about 8 people have up and quit cheering with Legacy because of the disrespect and favoritism that was going on in that gym. when one quit, all her and her mother got back were negative comments about how they didn't appreciate what Legacy had been doing for them and just rude, uncalled for and sarcastic comments. Great team, horrible management and horrible attitudes.
