Had been a member of 24hr for 10+ years. Every year my membership went up a few bucks....then when COVID19 happened I was still being charged and unable to cancel or freeze my account. Really dissapointing...never got a refund either for the 2.5mo they were closed.
This place is great! I am so glad I started training here. The trainers and owners really do care about helping you get results and they are just great people to be around. I don't want to train anywhere else!
Great and friendly customer service and very professional. This gym is awesome.
Great gym!! Very clean and excellent staff. A little pricey, seems worth it for me. I go mid afternoon and no crowds. Pool is heated and plenty of towels provided.
Go later at night on the weekends .

Wouldn't come here if JAFRICAN FITNESS wasn't there. Manager is a liar. They want your money.

I signed up for a MONTHLY plan back in August of 2017 and added the option to go to all locations. I stopped using the membership about 7 months in, so I placed my account on a hold. When I finally decided I wasn't going to return to 24 hr fitness, I called to cancel my account. I was told I was in a 12 month commitment and needed to pay an early termination fee. As a membership based Sales Manager, I was thorough in my questioning when signing up for this plan so it was news to me that I had been enrolled in a 12 month commitment. I have previously had a membership with 24 hour and it was a 12 month contract. I wanted to avoid that this time and made that VERY clear to the associate. I asked him several times if I could get out of the membership at anytime with the monthly option and he told me I could since I was paying the additional rate to be on the month-to-month plan, which I was told was $10/month.
Even though my account is up for cancellation next month, when I spoke to the manager, she refused to cancel my account without having to pay the early termination fee. I work 6 days a week and the whole point of getting on a month-to-month plan where I could cancel anytime is for that exact reason...I'm going to have to cancel my card to avoid the charge. It's ridiculous the lack of customer service these people provided. I would have resigned up in the future when I have more time but this has completely deterred me from ever trusting this company again.

This place is an absolute DUMP. I've been in the fitness industry/lifestyle for decades and 24hr Fitness is becoming the "fast food" version of gyms in term of quality. Anyone can attest this place has EXTREMELY poor management, has to be at least District/Regional down. Not one 24hr Fitness in a 10 mile radius of this location is a gym I'd recommend. Literally the ONLY reason I come is its literally 5 min from me. The bathrooms smell and look worse than a convenient store in the hood. Forget about even a wipe down let's just hope water and trash aren't everywhere on the floor and the toilets aren't backed up. No bathroom upstairs even though there is room to make one, so if your up where EVERYTHING is, be ready to come back down to use the restroom (good job engineers). Pins missing, cables broke on at least 3 machines every single month. Poor quality old equipment. Calf machine broke months ago, they left it for a month, never fixed it, now its just gone. Trainers in there, well, look at them that should say enough. Water fountains rarely have pressure or cold water for that matter..paper towels always out. I could go on, but you get the point. Anyone that goes in there consistently and looks around esp at League city, Fwood, and Pasadena locations will know. When the construction dies out I'm gone, and so are others. Trust me it's the "talk" in the gym. Never once have I seen a survey for its members on sugg improvements, ice machines added for drinks or just BASIC ATTENTION TO DETAIL! The managers are failing this place, as are their bosses. I'd love to take over and put some attention to detail in these gyms, but at this point I'm embarrassed to be a member let alone a Manager, and that's a shame. Better listen or all the 15 mom and pop gyms will take your business and are!

I really expect more from this gym considering the location in the busy shopping center. It not a nice. Some of the equipment is out-dated and rusty. Not very big either. The weight and cardio area are together upstairs plus the group room. Downstairs has the court and pool area the staff is generally nice and helpful

I OVERALL LOVE THIS GYM BUT HAVE NOT BEEN TOO HAPPY WITH THERE DAYCARE SERVICE!! I WAS HAPPY TO JOIN A GYM WITH A DAYCARE CUZ IT WAS CONVIENT FOR ME. BUT THERES BEEN TIMES IVE GONE IN THE EVENING AND THERES BEEN A "WAIT" TO USE THERE DAYCARE DUE TO BEING UNDERSTAFFED OR NOT HAVING ENOUGH ROOM, AND THERES BEEN TIMES I COULDN'T USE THE GYM CUZ I COULDNT WAIT!! IM A SINGLE MOM THAT DEPENDS ON THERE DAYCARE TO USE THE GYM SO ITS VERY UNCONVIENT THAT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE ENOUGH DAYCARE WORKERS DURING THERE BUSY HOURS!!! I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY PARENT WITH THIS ISSUE CAUSE IVE SEEN OTHER GYM MEMBERS HAVE TO LEAVE THE GYM FOR THE SAME REASON!!!
Staff is terrible!!! They can't keep there word about fees they will lie to u till they hook u in... One time charge on your card and they will charge you when ever they feel like it for any reason.... I will never do business there ever again!!!!
A great staff cannot make up for the poorly allocated yearly charges of 40$ per member to upkeep the gym. They have clearly chosen to spend it vacuously, judging by the condition of the equipment and worn out floors (both wood in private area and around the gym generally speaking). Otherwise great team members!

I love their steam room always open 24 hours and people are very nice
The gym has many options with weights /equipment and classes to attended. However, many machines are broken consistently, and require a need to be updated /fixed to accomodate the price of monthly fees, especially in comparison to other gyms in the area which provide additional amenities with their memberships.
The gym will also leak from the roof when heavy rain occurs.
Equipment is in horrible condition. In the summer they refuse to adjust the air conditioning to a comfortable level.
This 24 is one of the newer ones in the area, so it is nice. The time I go in the evening is a bit crowded but they have a ton of cardio machines. Some times it smells funny but not as often as other gyms I've been to.
The staff has really cleaned this place up over the last couple years it used to be really dirty. Only complaint I have is it they only have two urinals in the bathroom but they have space for 4 seems like they cheaped out a little bit on that. Overall plenty of space and workout equipment to do your thing even on busy evenings. Really enjoy the dry sauna. Beware the locker room creepers that hang out far too long and for no reason. Been using this gym for 8 years off and on.
It's a gym, better go know it gets packed at New years every year
Terrible management! I am visiting family for the weekend and they wouldn't let me use a guest pass or a 3 day pass when they had them sitting on the desk. They said I had to pay $20 just to workout for one day.
I called the 24 hour fitness on fairmont and they said they are over charging you. You can get a 7 day guest pass for $10.
I do not recommend going the 24 hour fitness in league city until management changes.
This gym is horrible. Upstairs weight area is extremely hot. I've asked dozens of times to have the air conditioning turn up just a few degrees and all they ever say " We don't have access to it from here"! The weights are left all over the place and only 1 Employee that I know of puts them away. I understand the members should be putting their own weights back where they belong but people are lazy. FIX OR TURN THE AIR ON A REASONABLE TEMPERATURE DURING ALL HOURS. At 4 AM it's disgusting and smells like pure ass.

When i signed up they made it seem very nice and welcoming and like you were getting all this discounts, etc. Well long story short the "manager" that did my and my sisters membership had sold us stuff (trainer packages, lower payments) and didn't explain the fees or what we actually signed up for, when we went up there to talk about the charges they said they couldn't do much but they would try to reimburse us for stuff we didn't sign up to begin with. Today, after finding a better gym that i like, closer to home and a little cheaper for my monthly payment i called the League City gym to cancel. The receptionist named Bailey was nice at first, but when i told her i wanted to cancel my membership she said there was nothing she could do and hung up the phone, talk about being rude when i was only asking a simple question if there was someone there that could help me with my membership. I don't recommend this place at all!
Equipment is always broke. 3 Precor elliptical machines have been broke for over 2 month. Many of the head jacks don't work on several machine. Several weigh machines broken. When I ask when they will be fixed, they can't give me a date. One worker even told me there were no machines broken when there were signs on them saying they broken.
