24 hour fitness recently changed their hours to start at 4am. On week days you're lucky if they open on time but it's not too bad. On weekends they don't show up to unlock the gym until 6 or 7am. Don't count on this gym if you work out in the morning.
At 3am was attempting th work out, but the radio was so loud that I had to yell above the music to the attendant. He informed me that the volume was in the mnagers office and the office was locked. The music was so astronomically loud that I heard it over my noise reduction ear phone with my muisc on.
Oh, and the attendant was nowhere to be found for 7 minutes.
IJS.
first thing is parking sucks but besides that its normal crowded at certain times. My complaint is the fact I left my water bottle there and called to have an employee get it and hold it at the front desk which he said he would do. It took me about a week to get back there but when i did and asked for my water bottle no one knew anything about it including the guy that went and got it. The area manager told me they are not allowed to say the will hold items and I told her but your employee did.... now y'all cant find it?? its not about the price of the bottle cause i could always go and get another no problem. My problem is the fact they told me they had it for me to pick up them told me they cant do that when they lost it. Then what pissed me off even more is the guy that said he would hold it said i think your friend picked it up...... i said no way, the only person i work out with at the gym is my wife and if she had of grabbed it i wouldn't be asking you guys for it. Totally pisses me off!!! if your policy is to not hold things then educate your employees!!! just saying cause if he had of said I cant go get it and hold it due to policy i could have made a decision to turn around and get it just leave it so the gym could let someone walk off with it like they did anyway....wont be going back to that gym for sure and maybe even switching gyms.
Not enough squat racks and WAY too hot. Staff friendly and pretty big, but it's so disgustingly hot it's barely worth it.
Also, everything covered in a thin layer of rust. Probably cause it's so moist in here... All the plates and barbells need a steel wool and oil treatment.

The gym is ultra-convenient, but it's in DIRE need of an equipment upgrade. Rust, damage, over all wear on all equipment. Very poor upkeep.

Love the Gym. Is big as LA Fitness, clean. I just start but is good to know that I could use any 24 hour fitness everywhere. Love it

Free valet, various parking options, and towel service. Equipment and gym are clean. Indoor pool is a little too cool for my taste.
A nice facility poorly maintained and operated. I don't think that there is a piece of cardio equipment that is 100% working. Showers are dirty, towels are at a premium during busy times. A disappointment but I bought a 1 year membership, so I'm stuck for a few more months.

Machines need to work properly and it needs to be updated. Cardio machines dont work well.
Incredibly unhelpful. I signed up for a 3-day pass, but they refused to honor it, instead told me I could only work out today if I signed up for a membership.
To be fair this is a bit situational, but also, this was the point they could have been helpful but were not. They said that they couldn't honor it because I didn't have an ID from Houston. Well, I just moved here yesterday, so I didn't have one, but more importantly THEY WERE LYING TRYING TO GET ME TO SIGN UP.
I know for a fact I don't need an ID from this state or city to sign up for the 3 day pass because I was in Dallas just over a year ago and went through this process with out a Texas ID. I gave a little push back and the person helped me said he would go talk to the manager. The manager didn't even have the time of day to understand my situation and help me out- which would have helped us both out, as I had every intention of signing up for a year membership. My last gym I was at for 10 years.
I could go on giving you a bunch of details so they can't give a B.S. reply invalidating what I am saying, but that's not the point.
The point is, they were not willing to take even 2 second out of their day to be helpful, instead they just lied about various things to try and corner me into signing up. The only way they would help is if I was going to give them money.

I had a very nice experience here with a friend that took me on her pass- The employees were super nice
I love this gym!! The atmosphere is great, the trainers are great and this is my go-to gym.
Finally worked up the motivation to actually start working out again. I sign up online for a pass online and try to go one night and the one person working says sorry u cant work out. I offer to buy a year membership in full, says he doesnt do that! Now getting phone sales calls which is pretty laughable.
If you go in the evenings, it's difficult to get parking. The bottom floor is reserved for valet parking and right now the top floor is closed. It sucks to pay for a membership and not be able to actually get inside the gym. Once my membership us up, I will switch to the YMCA instead.

I go to this gym mainly for the location. There are definitely better gyms, but this one is convenient for me. The cardio equipment is mostly outdated and a handful of the machines are rusty and/or don't work. However, all of the stairmasters are new, as well as a row of elliptical (and maybe treadmills). The classes are good and the front desk employees are very friendly. The locker rooms could use some help.

This is truly a horrible gym, where the only thing that counts is gym membership, as many as they can. The manager here and staff really don't care about the customers. You get get away with anything here from sneaking in the facility past 10 p.m.., to sitting on machines and texting, , not cleaning your sweet off machines or putting your weights up. Every evening around 10, just wait for the single desk clerk to go in back to collect towels, walk on in. I've seen vagrants sleeping in here, but more that that, alot of people who sneak in and are to poor to afford a gym membership so they sneak in at night to play basketball. These trashy people, curse, holler at the top of their lungs in the basketball courts and the weight room floor. The management is well aware of this DANGEROUS situation and will not do anything. People sitting on machines texting, people taking pics in the locker room. I complained about a guy one time taking pics and the employee just shrugged his shoulders.... And then the arguments that almost occur daily between members. If you go to this facility you'd better be bigger and meaner than the next guy, there are a lot of weird "bullies" here. And then DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR TO FAR FROM THE DOORS, as cars are routinely burglarized in the parking garage from all the poor people hanging around and sneaking in. I know this comment is a lot of rambling, but there are so many problems here. It is not the local YMCA where respect and courtesy is promoted, truly this is a do whatever the H*ll you want type of facility!
This gym is bad... the equipments are very old. Some even have rust on it! Take a look at the pictures. The locker rooms are horrible. The treadmills are not bad actually. The best part of the gym was ONE of the front desk guys. Professional and courteous.

Rudest staff of any gym I have ever encountered. An encounter between an employee and a customer turned ugly and my whole experience here was negative. A beautiful place that I would never sign a membership to.
This is a good solid gym with multiple floors and lots of equipment. I visit this gym mainly to instruct Spin class and the sound system and bikes are in very good shape. There is no perfect gym and people can be very hard on equipment and sometimes down right trashy, but they do a good job of keeping the gym clean IMO. The staff are friendly and quick to help. 5 stars!
Today is my first time here and is was perfect! Bruce thank you for welcoming me!
And all those bad reviews shame on you for downing this location! You all gave me high skepticism about this location! I'm happy I came to give a honest review!
As soon as I walked in I had a "warm welcome" by Mr. Bruce! He smiled and was kind enough to show me where everything was. My current gym is still in the process of recovering from Hurricane Harvey so this was the closet gym within my distance!
The location is CLEAN!
The people are wonderful!
And the parking was easy breezy, but then again I came at 11am- so not a 100% how it is during peak times! Just being honest!
24 Hour Fitness we need more people like Bruce!
They have a lot of good equipment, but two squat racks?? There's almost always a wait to use one. Get rid of both Smith machines and replace with squat racks.
I love this 24hour for many different reasons. For starters I enjoy the amazing view of the skyline, to me its grand work of architecture was also a goal of its own and thats drives me to improve. And I honestly enjoy the staff even though I dont really just know them on a mutual social level I can speak to them as if I do. Another thing would be thier inventory , whatever I find out what I am missing on a moment notice I will stop and shop and leaving satisfied as well as having towels ready. I also would like to congratulate on the upkeep of the building. I am on my way to an honored journey and this place is my training ground.
