Awesome people! Awesome atmosphere! They have everything you need to get fit.
The gym's equipment is fairly basic. Mostly older machines, decent amount of free weights. Love the dry sauna, wish the rest of the place was a bit cleaner. Around the pool and the hot-tub are these drains, one day while resting outside the sauna, located next to the pool, I noticed what looked like small mites around those drains that line the pool area. Stopped leaving my bag outside on the floor while in the sauna. The state of the showers in the male locker room leave a bit to be desired, for a few months one stall literally had the wall broken and open near the shower head. The company is unwilling to negotiate when it comes to price because of some of these issues, moving on.
I didn't think a gym could be messier/dirtier than the Galleria location, but low and behold, there's Meyerland!! I can work with old machines, but I'm trying to figure out why the staff is chillin' like this (first pic) while the floor looks like this (second pic). I was here for almost 2 hours (about 9:15-11pm on a Friday night) and that mess was there THE. ENTIRE. TIME. Y'all should really be ashamed of yourselves!! And then there's the multitude of equipment out of place and empty bottles and dispensers of hand and machine sanitizer...idk how this place is still open.
I only gave 2 stars because of the amount EZ barbells they have (4 racks!!).
I really like this 24 gym. It the closest to my house. Great equipment and exercise rooms. Its is quiet at night. Toilets still need an overhaul.

There are six squat racks. All other info is irrelevant.

Very friendly staff. My trainer (Adrian) is incredible! I am shaving off one star because some of the equipment needs a THOROUGH cleaning.

This place could use a nice remodeling and cleanse. If you'r on a budget this place is no more than just OK.

Great work out with Ali and Fusheng. Marnita is MIA.

Terrible 24 hour! Equipment is old and gym not appealing. Such a shame as some other 24 hours are up to date with new machines etc. Would not be happy
To return.
A Decent gym, staff is friendly and most of the machines work all the time. The classes are fun, i let my mom attend some when she was visiting from India.
My daughter and I had a bad experience years ago with the babysitting but now that she's outgrown it and grown into Zumba it's our favorite gym in the system.
The diversity of the people on all axes, including religion and age not just one minority or another, make the classes really great. And it's those classes, particularly LBunny's that got her hooked. She even brought a friend to experience it. It's given her great cardiovascular conditioning for sports and it's more sustained then the training at her school so she's gotten really lean (she says please give Bunny 90 minute slot more often !)
I like it because it's all on one level and the dance floor isn't ruined by the sticky varnish that's now at Galleria Sport as well as Rice Village that aggravates all my old injuries.
I thought about deducting one star. It does feel more like a traditional gym then a spa but with a bunch of people around that don't belong in in traditional gym but I think I like it that way. And I like refreshing my skills using the heavy bag from time to time :-)
I have tried to not write a terrible review for this gym as the staff seem to be helpful enough, however, it finally happened.... I saw a roach. The bathrooms were always awful and have always smelled terrible but it has gone too far. Yes, the bathroom whilst taking some "time out" there it was. I was mortified but not all that shocked. This place is dirty and disgusting 24/hours. They need to also enforce hygiene when it comes to the sauna.... PLEASE do something 24 Fitness. You did a surface retouch two years ago, it is time to do the real stuff! The bathroom and pool area 100% needs to be redone completely! Having said that, I was going to give this two stars and I had to ask myself...why the extra star...?
Employees are nice. Unfortunately weights not always organized and the restroom could use more attention.
The only time you can get in and have a real workout it's at 2 a.m. the equipment is usually in disrepair. It smells a little off in the dressing room I know it's a gym but how the bathroom smells is important everywhere. My locker was broken into comma however the management did resolve the issue by offering a couple of months free membership. I accepted but never went back because more than once I was offered marijuana in the gym! One guy was using a scentless vaporizing device and smoking pot on the gym floor. He was standing next to the bench I was on and I thought it was odd that someone would have a weird little breathing apparatus so I inquired and he told me what it was and offered me some as well!
Car window got broken into within an hour. Nothing was taken or visible to steal. I was in the 24 hour parking lot with an security guard on patrol riding a golf cart. They refused to reimburse me for my 300.00 window. I've been a loyal member for years. I don't feel my car is safe in there parking lot. I asked they had cameras and they assistant operations manager told me he didn't know. The general manager wouldn't get on the phone to talk to me. I know he wouldn't talk to me because the lady who answered the phone said he was right there " let me ask him".
