Great results and worth every penny! One of my favorite workouts and very effective
I got a 3 day pass online before going there and when I tried to use it they wouldn't let me. The guy I was talking to said because I was a member my years ago in Dallas! There was no such restriction on the pass though. He was trying to get me sign up. I told him let me check out the gym for one time first because I make a decision. That's why I got the free 3 day pass! He wouldn't have it. I went to complain to another guy and he let me in. Why do 24 hours fitness advertise the 3 day pass if the employees at the gym don't honor it. That's not professional at all.
Great Gym, it has a amazing kids care plus the fitness classes here are top notch. Plus they have an pool & indoor training field turf.
Not bad for the price. Some of the equipment is a little old and needs repair. It could be a little cleaner. I've been to nicer 24 Hour Fitness locations. This location is not open 24 hours on the weekends, but the nearby Dairy Ashford location is, so that's not really a problem. I haven't seen any problems with the staff that others have mentioned. The cross training area is very nice.
I was trying to be nice to these people but when I called to speak to a manager the girl that answered the phone didn't even know her managers name well she doin found out by hollering to another employee "WHAT'S MY MANAGERS NAME," in my ear. When she transferred me the phone rang once and hung up on my face, I called back and the guy that answered the phone Refused to give me his name which is not very professional, finally he put Victor on the phone, Victor let me know the manager was in a meeting which the other two employees should have known and told me. Very rude and HORRIBLE customer service today from the people behind the counter when I called around 12:45p . for a few weeks now this gym has been FILTHY and when I went in today there were weights and mats ALL OVER THE PLACE, everyone had to hunt for weights to use and some of us didn't even get in a good workout because half the free weights were missing and no where to be found. the only person I ever see cleaning is the older lady that is normally in the daycare, she has blonde hair, sweet lady. So the young guys and girls sit behind that counter on their phones and have the elderly pick up the equipment. Many times I've gone in here and every single stall in the women's bathroom has been out of toilet paper or they are extremely dirty with no soap. One time every single trash can was FULL and there was NO sanitizer in site only empty bottles. I do Not Pay almost 40$ a month to workout in filth.
I was trying to upload pics but for some reason Google won't allow it. But I sent them to corp
Im a 18 year member. I've seen many locations and I've seen 24 be the best gyms to what it had become..... the bottom. I only pay $24 per year other wise I'd go elsewhere. This location is filthy. The restrooms cause concern if you'll walk out with a sickness. The equipment is old and un-maintenance. Do better, your members have choices

Nothing but good things to say about the staff. The turf training room is my favorite aspect of this club. All the equipment is adequate, definitely some more old school machines but they all do their job.
All the issues I have about this gym stem from the clients using it. I've been a part of some ghetto warehouse and Gold's gyms, but this one has beat them all out in terms of inconsiderate members. Gear is left all over the place, equipment gets left so far away from their origin Trump has decided to impose tariffs just to return them to their proper resting place. The pool can be just as frustrating. I understand everyone is paying for equal use of the facilities but Lord have mercy - 50% of the people swimming have no business being in the water and it goes back to the inconsiderate factor.
That being said I've met some great people here and the pros outweigh the frustrating aspects. My heart goes out to the staff that clean up after some of these animals.

I like 24hr Fitness. I've been a loyal customer for years. One of these days, I'm gonna actually stick with a work out regiment instead of my usual routine of going to the gym for two weeks and then returning a year later.

We have been the 24H Fitness members for the 11 months, and we are going here twice a week...
Pros: Great staff, varieties of equipment, sauna, clean hot tub and swimming pool.
Cons: Park your cars at your own risks, some old dudes will get naked and walk around in front of you like you are invisible.

I like 24 hours gym, but the staffs(Front desk Hispanic guys! Worse!) here in this gym(Westchase one) are so rude and have bad attitudes to the customers! I came here today for a free trial but the sales were not here(was it my fault?!) he told me he was not able to initiate the free pass and I understood it. However, he yelled at me that made me feel like he thought I am an idiot. I have been a member for other gyms no one treats me like that. Worse staffs ever!! Please change the staffs at front desk, I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the rude and disrespectful staffs. They are not representing the gym, the gym is awesome.

ATTENTION PARENTS!!! The person in charge of the Kid's Play Area, Ms.Violet doesn't know how to deal or care about babies specially under 5 years old. I'm a mother of 3 and my oldest one is 4 & half, Ms. Violet didn't allowed her to do her homework on her fist day, she wouldn't allowed the other kids neither to play, unless they'll do it quitely and she would even encourage them to remain seated and watch T.V. for most of the time they'll spend there. My middle one is 2 years & half and on her first day Ms. Violet named her "Drama Queen" because she hide between the toys and wouldn't stopped crying after an older boy hit her in the arm. My youngest one is a 9 month baby. Ms.Danny took great care of her on her 2 first visits but for the 3rd.one Ms.Violet was the one in charge of her care and for the look of her face it was clear to me that she didn't wanted to take care of her so she informed me that I need it to wait for 3 extra spots outside the Kid's Play Area and so I did but a parent came in after me and she took her two older kids, then another parent showed up with her teen and she admitted her as well. I ask her for an explanation about why did she took other kids if there were no more spots available and she told me that the mother who got there after me, told her that I had left the gym and so she took her word for granted and admitted the rest of the kids. Then, I was forced to leave the gym without working out. The 4th.& last time I left my babies with Ms.Violet, I enter with my girlfriend and we were shocked about the way she shouted to my babies about not taking snacks inside. She wouldn't warned me as the parent about their policy or talk to me in a polite way which it would have been the right way to do. For that matter my babies got scared and started crying. Then, when I could finally calmed them down and I could leave to attend to my yoga class, 30min after she came looking for me. I found my youngest baby crying desperately and screaming in a corner covered in tears & mocus, her face looked congested and inflammated, symptoms that proved to me that my baby has been crying for a very long time. I had complained to the management and my girlfriend did too about this incidents but nothing was made to ensure my babies safety. Ms. Violet actitude is that I should only workout for 20min only and then leave the gym. As quitting is not an option for me, I'm in the search for a new gym with a better take care giver that will actually feel love for the profession and the kids under her/his care. The other areas are good&clean. Wide variety of classes!Zumba class with Janice is awesome!Easy to follow& excellent work out routines! The rest of the staff and management team is super!!

ATTENTION PARENTS!!! If you're planning to take your baby to the Kid's Play Area, be aware that the person in charge, Ms.Violet doesn't care to learn and understand how to deal with young kids. I have a 9 months & 2 years old babies and she treated them as older kids, therefore they continuesly cry under her care. She won't try to hold them or calm them in any way but she'll let them cry until the 10min policy apply and so you're called to pick up your baby. Need better machines.
Dirty men restrooms must clean please.
I enjoy coming here but the equipment needs to be upgraded immediately. Very outdated.
Clean , we'll equipped. Friendly staff.
This is a GYM it's very big has the machines needed to work out and good weights. Has everything needed for a proper work out. The locker room floor is dirty and has water all over it because the shower is right next to it. The machines and weights are rusty and look very worn down, but they get the job done. Also the machines are sweaty.
Only thing I would say is that they need to place more disinfecting spray and napkins to clean the machines. I had to walk across the room and search for some napkins to clean the sweaty machine. If you want a clean facility with super clean machines go to planetfitness! This gym is for the people who actually work out and not sit in a machine 30min on their phone.
They have a security out side who is walking around constantly and that is a thumbs up. Only issue I had was the wet locker room .
I got strep throat from this disgusting gym. It smelled like urine as soon as I walked in. Upstairs, all of the cleaning agent and paper towel were all the way to the back walls of the gym, not readily accessible around the interior of the gym, plus you have to hunt for them. On many pieces of equipment, you could see sweat drops (a lot of them). On the weight lifting machines, you can see dirt run off from people's arms. I'm the last person to talk about cleanliness, but that gym was disgusting. The layout and equipment is fine, but the gym itself was disgusting. They could really learn a thing or two from the gym on gulf highway near clear lake. They even help users to be considerate of others with small signs on the machines about cleaning your sweat drops.
I doubt I will ever go to that strep throat gym again.
Disgusting management at this location, terrible restroom environment here as well. Awful staff from top to bottom. Nothing ever is replaced or fixed. Nobody is ever fired for not doing their job. All they care about is "the process" you have to be given a tour. They will pester you until you change all your information.
I have been a member for over 5 years. I have been to a lot of locations all over texas. This one is the closest to my house so it's usually the one I frequent. I brought a friend who just moved into our neighborhood to bring as a guest. Guest pass in his hand and me never bringing guests, they asked how long since the last time he visited. He replied "5-6 years at least". The front desk supervisor said he was not allowed to come to any 24hr as a guest and the policy changed a day ago. I asked to wait for manager, she called him said nothing along the lines about the guest to him, hung up, said he was busy, im the supervisor and your friend isnt allowed.....Long story short the Voss 24 HR location not only accepted the guest pass but pointed out the fine print on the pass which clearly states valid as long as guest has not visited a 24HR WITHIN 6 MONTHS!!!! Legit lied to us at this location, and for no reason at that....made no sense to not want a new member to join. The Voss location apologized on their behalf as well...Kudos to Voss, my new gym.
I have only been a member for about two weeks and I have experienced theft in two occasions within that timespan. First, my car got broken into on the parking lot, then about four days later, my locker got broken into and they stole my money out of my wallet.
In my opinion, the loss that you are going to experience from thefts in this facility will outweigh the gym membership that you are paying. The security is very poor, and the parking lot is poorly lit.
I have had the worst gym experience of my life in the last two weeks of 2017. I think that theft here is so common, because of the reaction when you tell the team members at the front about an incident.
Extremely outdated equipment and dirty gym. No lights in parking area. Underdelivering company considering the monthly fees charged. Not enough equipment in the weights sector, not to mention the lack of ergonomics of all the equipment there. Fitness Connection is 100 times better, cheaper by half what I'm paying here, clean and excellent maintenance. Can't wait for my remaining 12 months of the loyalty contract to be over to go back to Fitness Connection. I have been a member there and decided to cancel so that I could get out of the loyalty contract ASAP or I'd be paying yearly fees forever do to my numerous placements of freeze on my account. I don't choose this place/company at all.
Worst gym I have ever been to, roaches in ladies lockers. Roof leaks even when it is not raining. The whole gym is dirty. Lots of thief in ladies locker room. My locker was broken in eventhough it was locked. New Lady manager is rude and awaful. Most unfriendly workers always on their cell.
If you need to join a gym go somewhere else there are cheaper options available in Houston.
Corporate office never returns your calls either.
I had my locker open and got money stolen out of my wallet. Employees do not do anything about it. There should be more security or visits from employees to the locker rooms.
The sales manager (young Mexican male working at 5pm on 9/4/17) was going on some type of rude post-harvey power trip.
I went to the gym with my girlfriend, and we find out that her membership was expired (less than a week prior). The ladies upfront told her that her membership was expired, and told me that I had to talk to the sales manager to see what her options were. This guy was very rude and told us that if my girlfriend was not displaced from the hurricane that she could not enter without an active membership. I asked him about the free entry to the gym until the end of the month. He rudely stated that that was for only active members that were displaced from Harvey, and awkwardly mentioned that he was displaced from the hurricane. Unfortunately, I was on the phone with FEMA to report some damages done to my house, so my girlfriend went with the sales manager to discuss further. She told me that sales manager said I was rude, and gave her a 3 day pass.
A few things:
1. He is completely incorrect about who this applies to. I quote the email sent stating "Regardless of membership status, we invite you, your family and friends to any of our clubs in the Houston area to enjoy a workout." This includes expired, non-existent, and active memberships.
2. As a member for 1.5 years, I believe that 24 must train their managers a bit more. This "manager" not only was rude, but misunderstood the post-Harvey communication sent out to all members. I want to continue my membership with 24, but if their managers are unable to treat their patrons with respect, I will find somewhere else.
3. Message to this "Manager": As a manager, you are never allowed to talk negatively about a member to their girlfriend. Especially while you are at work and on the clock.
The turf field and bumper plates are a major win for this location. The staff is very friendly up front as well. The negatives for me is the condition of the weights upstairs in the free weight area. Most of the equipment is rusting and tough to readjust. The bathrooms are also consistently dirty. I usually go to the one on San Felipe because it's closer for me, but on my deadlift day I love coming here.
The pool area is good and the sauna is hot when not broke down and the steam room is good. It could use more bench press areas upstairs though.
