Amazing Facility! The staff are always smiling and encouraging. A time like this where health concerns are of great consideration the staff is constantly wiping down everything human hands come into contact with. Also, there are an abundance of Sanitation Bottles within the entire facility for good measure. The gym has everything you need! No complaints.

i really love the different varieties of equipment and exercise programs they have. the cost of the membership at the time was kind of expensive with all the completion around it, not to mention if you wanted a personal trainer. although the Gym is a really great place and has conducive energy to work out, if they would lower there membership price, or include a personal trainer for 60 days, of dedication they might keep members, and gain more people to come.

I met Nelson years ago when he first opened his doors, he was as passionate then as he is today. His facility has all the high end equipment you'd expect to see and the staff to match. The Personal Trainers are exceptional and will dedicate themselves to you reaching whatever goals you set for your health and fitness. Out of all the options you have in the area 1440 is the best of all of them. They are so good that our Company has maintained a partnership with him from the beginning and will continue as long as they are open.

It's not a bad little gym. For anyone wanting to go in and come out, this gym works. I will say (as a whole) the facility should be bigger to have more room for more free weights and machines. Besides that, they have different classes for everyone. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I was content with my time there.

I love Fitness 1440 on Harding! The staff is friendly, and it is one of the few (if any?) gyms in Nashville that has everything I need there: exercise equipment, track, hot tub, pool, sauna. Because of that, I was very sad, when after many years, the YMCA that used to occupy the building closed. So I was really excited when it reopened as Fitness 1440! I'm very grateful!

The place is fair enough, you get what you paid for.
THey are improving everyday since i start coming here. They have scan 3d and new devices to keep track of how many calories you burn. the Pool is good, sometimes the hot tube is an issue since a lot of times is not clean enough. THe staf is good, and I do recommend get some training with Mardae, ask for him he train you very well. and He really cares about your health

Love this place! Great staff, super friendly owner and they have a pool!!! Good rates too!

It is new place all the machines are brand new and in good shape. They have pool, dry sauna, and a lot of classes during the week. It started really good, but the bad part is they should really expense a little in training their staff, no matter who do you ask they don't know what is going on with the classes, they are nice and friendly but usually don't know when is a class. And they just disable a great cinema room they used to have, hope they recover that space

Extremely nice equipment, good variety of machines and weights, and super friendly staff!
I came in for a guest pass while I'm visiting from Michigan and I can honestly say if there was a 1440 like this in my hometown I would be switching my membership as soon as I got home. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Nashville

This is one of the best gyms I have ever been a member of. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere reflects that.

Listen closely- THEY WILL KEEP YOUR CARD INFORMATION AFTER YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS UP AND DRAIN YOUR ACCOUNT. And enjoyably enough- they will talk to you like you are the most insignificant, stupid piece of dirt while they do it. Genuinely ATROCIOUS customer service. It is a shame they have chosen the management that they have, because I actually liked the owner and his son a lot, but this can't be in any way conducive for longevity.
I was moved across the country in January at which point I called to cancel my membership. They still took the $35 + $75 maintenance fee out of my account. I called, and they said that there was nothing they could do but that they would have a manager cancel the account so that it wouldn't happen again. Of course I was not happy, but I understood and let it go. February comes along and the fees come out again. Exact same process of events. March- same thing. April- same thing, but this time I got to speak directly to a manager. He said that he would reverse the charges and cancel my account. I never saw the charges reversed, but I let it go since I finally got to speak directly to a manger so it was finally finished. But- TODAY IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I called, by this point somewhat disgruntled because they have now taken over $250 out of my account for services that I have not even been in that time zone to utilize, and they got VERY rude and told me that if I would like to cancel my account I will have to give 30 days notice. I reminded them of the fact that I have consistently given 5 months of notice to which they replied "Sorry- no record of that. Maybe I can cancel your account so they don't take the fee out next month."

I am a number one fan of this club, simply because they have helped me improve my lifestye through their programs and fitness advice.

For what is supposed to be a newer gym this place seemed very dirty and run down. Went to take a look at it and potentially sign up but was very disappointed in what I saw. Person showing me around didnt seem to care that it was dirty. Just kind of shrugged their shoulders at it.

What a joke scan card not working drove 30 mins away and2 hours early before work. Just to find out that i cant get in the gym so i sit here because there no point of driving home what a wasted morning. It problems over and over with this place

Fitness 1440 offers everything you need for well rounded work outs. The staff is very helpful and keep the gym clean and well kept. Along with the very reasonable and flexible membership, this is a great gym.

The good: Equipment is great and they offer a lot more than any PF could. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The Bad: Some Trainers seem way to pushy to get you into a training program. If you tell them you can't afford it right now they push to get you to commit. I know this is probably how these trainers are paid however the four walls (Shelter, Food, Utilities, and Transportation) of life must be taken care of first. I just want to go in work out and get advice if I don't need a trainer to tell me what works and what doesn't. Being a trainer and health care professional myself I can create my own plan. The whole thing is it takes commitment and motivation and that motivation is different for everyone so a trainers one size fits all approach isn't going to do it for me.

One of the main selling points for me in terms of this gym were the group classes. I had been at PF and was getting bored. Classes tend to motivate me more as I have a specific time I will be attending, etc. However, on multiple occasions, I showed up for a class that wasn't being offered that day for whatever reason. The front desk usually had no idea why the instructor wasn't there or the class wasn't being held. They weren't very apologetic about it either. The first couple times, I wasn't upset because I know things come up sometimes, but when it got to like the 4th time, I was done trying. I had gotten out of bed on a Saturday to attend class and it wasn't being held after it had been advertised on the white board for the last two days. If they are not going to make the fitness classes a priority and get consistent instructors in there, I don't think they should bother with them at all. I was also informed by an instructor regarding how little money they were making. I thought that was unprofessional, but it also made sense to me regarding the lack of care/concern regarding the classes.
In addition, I was lied to and told I would be signing up for a month to month membership when they signed me up for a year long membership, so I got slapped with a cancellation fee upon leaving. I learned my lesson about signing electronically on a credit card machine. I will not be doing that anywhere else again because they can essentially attach your signature to whatever after you've already signed. I was OK with the gym before that because the people were nice, but now I would not recommend them to anyone because my trust was essentially broken.

Been there for a month now and this place is great. You get two personal training sessions for free when you sign up and getting a personal trainer is extremely affordable. They have an indoor basketball court which I use to warm up which helps me not hate myself (as much) for getting up off the couch and trying to get fit.

Great place. Very nice staff, always helpful. The most amazing thing that they are open 24/7 and it's not crowded there.
