Was just told this gym is going to shut down and close very soon. Honestly I love the gym if your into fitness and if u want to go to a club then you have options like la fitness. But I do agree with other people commenting the owner is very sneaky, raising prices and then also closing gym down on members with out telling them just to receive that last payment not right at all. So anyone who is a currently a member now cancel tour membership now because I can before they try to pull something slick.

Being part of the Gym550 family for almost 2 years is the greatest thing I've ever got to do, and still currently doing! I love the atmosphere, the equipment, and especially the people, my dearest friends. This place holds a very special place in my heart. From seeing familiar faces, to greeting new ones, I would do anything and everything to help this gym keep on going strong.

The gym abmophre Is good, but most of the machines must be replaced and also fix. Also they Should place a note in the sauna room so people do not be using their phones while other are naked in the sauna, also the sauna need a clock inside so we can see how long we in it. The shower room need to be fix instead of having all those "do not do" signs when thing don't work properly you replace it or fix it one and for all.
Beside those inconvinice the gym is ok.

75% of the Cardio Machines are out of Order. Sauna bulbs are always out. I would not recommend Golds Gym

It a great a Gym because the equipments great. But they should upgrade the decor of the gym and make should the heat works. Because what the point of working out and freezing at the same time. The stuff don't say anything about the heat problem when people walk in, and don't seem to care to make sure the member are happy. No one should workout in a COLD GYM. People pay money to workout comfortable and feel happy. Not to workout and be cold while the stuff seem not to care about solving the problem. Also the Decor of the gym should be update not looking dull. While other gyms look brand new and more attractive to join.In the future I'm definally leaving Gold Gym to a other gym that's more update and better stuff that listen to the member and not ignore them about a problem in the gym.

I've been a member for over 10 years, the clientelle are much less about showing off and more about getting in their workout. I love going in the mornings.

Prepare to wait for everything. The staff esp the men don't understand what customer service is. They are more concerned with eachother than the members. I dont even get shakes because having them actually do something is below them. How about instead of hunched over in your phone's go put some weights away or how about greet members or act like you like your job.

Very nice group fitness and instructors. You can literally choose 2-3 classes a week and you will get your body back. Nice manager Jon. Very, very good pricing and hours. Clean and spacious. Excellent referral rewards. Generous trial period. Glad to have this in the neighborhood.

One of the best gyms I've been to. I love working out. The workers are always willing to help you and love getting to know you and your needs. There is a sauna, tanning booth, hydro massage bed, and shake bar (so good). I highly recommend you go here. They're also open 24 hours a day 5 days a week. Lift there

Golds Gym has always been a home name for me whether its across the country at the Mecca in Venice, CA or here in RI. Working here as a personal trainer for the past year has been such a wonderful and positive experience. I've made friends with the nearly all staff and members here who are super friendly and really respect my training and all that I stand for. The new management has made tremendous changes and I am proud to represent such a genuine & hardworking company. If you need a gym to call home, Golds Gym RI is absolutely the place for you.
