It's a nice facility but can be rough around the edges, the kids that are using it can also sometimes be a little rough and sometimes harass you/ say racist things. Also make sure you take off all external accessories off your bike if you lock it outside because the crowd that hangs outside will most likely take them for you!.... more
It's more convenient living in North philly it's a shame of the distance of people w/o insurance other than that transportation and shopping is very close. Clean small y. Friendly staff, nice machines.... more

The community of the Y has sideways been & still is of a wholehearted loving family.. The "Y" is the best for keeping fit. And if you have knee replacement the bike is a good piece of equipment to use.... more
Seems to be permanently closed at this location. I was one of 3 people who paid and showed up for the first flight class this morning. The studio was closed, the name is scraped off the mail box, there are loops on the ceiling but no slings/hammocks.... more

I love working out at Sweat, especially this location. The space gives it a family feel, but gritty enough to put you in the right mindset to crush your exercises. It's pretty straight forward but also gives you the feeling that you're in an actual gym to PUT IN WORK! No need for the glits or glam.... more
This gym is getting worse. There is always some issues with the restrooms in any floor. When a machine is broke it could take months to get it back working. They make me pay $45/month.... more
This center is old school. Free weights , no distractions. High intensity nothing but power !!!. Staff are awesome. Easy going atmosphere. Everyone makes you feel comfortable. Easy access to equipment without having to wait.... more

On the gym: -The gym is old -Floors are uneven in the dumbbell area -Equipment is old -Stair machines are old, always breaking and one is rusted -Ceiling has a huge hole in it with moldy sheetrock -Bathrooms are dirty and smell -Buckets catch water from leaks On other options: Planet Fitness - cheap and new, very well maintained City Fitness - more money, but a premium gym and experience On canceling: They will cite a "2 month notice" policy in your contract in which you have two pay 2 month's fee for no reason, so an additional $100 that they pocket.... more
