Limited strength equipment (2 squat racks), no olympic weightlifting plates and members that are above cleaning up after themselves.
Great place to work out. Only wish they had another power rack and the music sucks.
They make you give them your ID to borrow a basketball which is ridiculous. I am not going to risk a staff member losing my ID or leaving my personal info out in the open for a ball. Meanwhile there is an entire bucket of basketballs and the guy at the desk tells me I cant use one.
This gym was great until I was violated by one of cleaning crew who walked in on me twice once taking a shower and when i was getting dressed at 6 am in the morning . This took place years ago I reported it and nothing was done same cleaning guy still worked there. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life.
Great facility for a mall spot. The highlights are the cleanliness and my man Curtis. Dude never stops working. Cool cat too!
Best gym! Nicest people that leave you alone when you work out! Lol They do help you if you ask and you need it though!!
Why would you sign up here? Relatively high prices (especially if you dont want to be locked into committment) for this very old gym, most of the staff is unprofessional, including the new General Manager who addresses even older gentlemen as "dude" and pushes sales (even personal training) very hard even when you just want to try the gym as per the website; outdated equipment, moldy bathrooms, bandaid in the pool for days, mediocre trainers. There have been daytime locker break-ins and cars stolen here.
Pros: great groupX instructors, open 24 hours.
I visited the Müv fitness almost across the road. We felt welcomed by Tab B. (our sales rep), prices are lower as they are going through the intro phases. Brand new gym, open less hours, only 2 lane lap-pool, but the rest of the gym will look better and offer more than 24hr.
Store manager Travis Hamm was rude over the phone. And thiefs are breaking into lockers and stealing the car keys and then stealing cars out of the parking lot! Bad place stay away!
The staff is always cool, its usually busy but not ever packed.
Warning !
thieves are roaming the gym at 24 HR Fitness Mall 205 !
Hello,
It has been a pleasure to get to work out with you all members at 24 HR fitness Mall 205 over the last few years, but unfortunately this place its getting to be a dangerous place to be working out at.night or early mornings !
Last night 07/10/2018 at around 9:45/10:00 PM more than one person got their padlocks of the lockers broken into, belongings stolen including valuables & credit cards from the men's locker room.
Please share this with other fellow members so they will not become victims !
you are welcome to share this message or call me back with any questions about details.
Note: The police cam in but So far none has contacted me from the 24HR Gym staff or the manager.

Horrific Gym. They allow a dude in the women's locker room who wlakw around butt naked. The gym personnel do nothing. It's a complete disgrace. If you are a woman or considering letting your daughter work out there, think twice!!!
I have had the same contract with them for awhile and everytime i attempt to come in, i always have to go over billing. Other then that, the hours are convenient and the staff are always willing to help.
The club is run down and DIRTY. Paper towel dispensers usually empty. Dirty shower areas. I've seen people treated so rudely at the front counter that they turned around and left.
Management does not respond to customer complaints, and when asked directly says the problems are because of the cleaning crew. Really? If were my place I'd just be sure it was clean.
The trainers are very good and personable.

I have been a member for a while. I am on automatic withdrawal for my account. Apparently there is an annual fee that is due, they don't tell you when its due though. they only tell you that your past due and cant use the club until you pay.
So, we paid. We updated our payment information and paid 100$ this month. Only to find out last week these bafoons didn't update our payment method, so we cant use the gym til next month. I am in the middle of training for a triathlon, that is next month.
I would recommend cascade down the street, or crunch. the staff here are morons, and they are very unprofessional.
I had horrible experiences with 24 in the past, and haven't tried them in about 7 years. figured id give them a try. nope, ill never go back again. 24 is the worst business operating.
Good gym. Its hard to use the basketball court at night due to volleyball. Not much that I can complain about. The turf area seems a little pointless because it is only like 10 yards. A good investment if you want to lift weights.

I received the worst customer service here. I tried to cancel my membership back in January. They said it was taken care of and I didn't need to do anything else. A few months later I noticed monthly charges and the $49.99 annual fee on my credit card. I was able to call membership services and get my monthly charges refunded, but they said the local club was in charge of refunding my annual fee and somebody would call me. Of course, nobody ever did. I ended up calling member services 4 additional times and going into the club 4 times, and they each kept telling me the other was supposed to help me. Extremely disappointing that nobody would take the initiative to do anything for me.
I know for a fact Aubrey at the front desk never canceled my account like she said she would. Manager Ann was rude and seemed not at all concerned about everything I had gone through and the fact that this was her employee's fault. This was their mistake and nobody would admit it.
My husband is a local physical therapist and will be sharing this experience with his patients and recommending they don't get memberships at any 24 Hour Fitness locations.
You'd think for a large company they would have better customer service and care about their customers more. This isn't even a nice gym. It's always dirty, has broken equipment that doesn't get fixed, and there are leaks from the roof that pool on the ground. I only went here because it was close to my house. Hopefully they can use the money they stole from me to make some repairs. Definitely never going back to this gym or any other 24.

Even though I'm a long-term member of this gym not always happy with the staff.
Cool gym, lots of fancy and great amenities, however, the lady told me the cheaper package I saw online wasn't a real thing. And tries to get me to do the most expensive long term deal. I went online and got the package deal I found. And it worked just fine..... O felt like she was trynna scam me. She was also kinda. . Not the nicest. But not extremly rude but got a judgy odd attitude vibe.
Well, without forewarning, the management decided to rent out the basketball gym from 430 to 9 pm every weekday to an outside volleyball group. This killed the basketball scene at the gym. Instead of supporting their loyal long time members, we were essentially told to take a hike. Very disappointing, and no viable solution was offered. Avoid this gym! They do not care about members!
Dirty restrooms and pool. I've complain about this many times, doesnt really help. Also rented out bball court for private teams. They're greedy and double dipping. Complained to corporate cs line, said manager will follow up with me, well nothing for over a month now. I wish i have other options, I'd stop going here for sure.
A nice gym with good equipment and classes. The staff is extremely nice and helpful-- I'm not sure why others had bad experiences, maybe there were some people who used to work there and no longer do? It's not a super sport location, so there isn't tons of space. I can't speak for what it's like in the evenings, because my schedule only allows for daytime workouts. And re: seeing trans women in the locker room-- guess what, Portland is maybe not the best place to live if you're transphobic. And it's not 24 Fitness's responsibility to cater to anyone's prejudices but rather to follow state and federal law, which is what they do.
I love taking Kara's BP class but other than that this gym sucks. I don't go there accept the one day I take my class. No towel service, gross bathrooms, equipment is completely outdated (like from the 70's) and it's extremely hot in there. Stay away from this gym if you can.
Great customer service. Kept clean and inviting. Layout is open and crowds are not to bad. The music and tv volumes need to get under control but that's just my opinion.
EXPERIENCE RUINED!! A GUY with LONG Beard By the name of Nicholas goes there and completely upsets everyone by degrading everyone by their religion. He completely disturbs everyone's peace, not only that.. WOMEN BE AWARE!! he will talk to you and they ask to give you a "Massage" then he will start touching you in inappropriate ways. HE DOES THIS TO ALL WOMEN!! this is warning do not come to this place, he is a completely weirdo and does inappropriate things to all women members there at the gym..
It's like all the other 24-hour fitness Sport out there. That is, it's a 24-Hour Super Sport minus the towel service, but more paper towel dispensers and cheaper membership cost. I suppose if you wanna pay a few more bucks for towels instead of bringing your own and/or using paper towels then go to a Super Sport version. This will suffice for those that go to the gym who actually think it's for training, getting a really good workout is the priority and it's your lifestyle. Not-because you're "doing something because you're bored", into people-watching, like to pretend you just did something even though half your time is spent tooling with your phone; or worse you're neurotic and like to look at the mirror thinking you're all that, because you just-did set and your muscles feel buff. If you wanna be pampered like at a club resort sort-of-place, then no, this place will disappoint. I've been a member of 24-hour fitness since the early 90's when they were called 24-Hour Nautilus. Well, I was a member of Family Fitness Center (and at Easton Gym) down in LA and 24-Hour Nautilus bought Family Fitness Centers out. At some point some private equity firm took over and it pretty much went down hill from there even if they expanded like mad. This particular site is part of that expansion. Long gone are the old 24-hour fitness regular clubs and replaced by some marketing scheme called "Sport" and "Super-Sport" so they can charge you extra in return for towel service that many original sites used to have; and being able to go to other 24-hour clubs, which they used to offer before the whole "Sport" thing anyway. Unfortunately, 24HF hasn't quite adapted to current times and I suspect other clubs out there (e.g. Crunch, Anytime Fitness, Snap and etc.) are probably going to syphon some members with their similar gyms at cheaper memberships for the same access privileges; think $10 a month instead of $29 minus the 24-hour fitness trainers pretending to be your friend to get you to purchase some training sessions and then annoyingly put weights wherever they feel like it after training someone instead of returning it to their proper spots. Saying all that, this particular club has all the things needed for a proper training regimen (bodybuilding to Triathlons) that I can't afford to have at my house. My monthly membership of $25 I got back in the 90's to use all the "Sport Club" level and below (which I'm not sure still exists) anywhere in the world at any time they're open is essentially a "rental fee" for the equipment I don't have room for or don't want to spend the money on at home. Sure, I have a bunch of workout equipment at home, but there's no way I'm going to spend thousands for 45-pound plates, bars, Hammer Machines, dipping machines, cables and pulleys...oh my...not to mention treadmills and bikes for the winter/rainy months up in the PacNW! Just the treadmills and stair climbers themselves is worth it for me, because those things don't last with all the mechanical issues they have that your measly warrantee isn't going to cover! So, outside the first-world problems like towel service, attentive staff, security, crowds and all that stuff, it's a decent place to work out. My only 3 complaints are 1st world problems too: 1. hexagonal weight plates (for me, terrible for deadlifts even if it safer to reduce unintentional "travelling") and 2. the lack of covered parking spaces (hey, I like my car protected from the elements; besides covered parking is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer than exposed ones); and 3. lockers used to be full length then 24HF remodeled a bunch of 24HF's and cut the lockers in half; I use two anyway and lock both when I'm at the 205 24HF, because let's face it, this 24HF is near Gresham and Gresham is not the same as the Pearl or Downtown PDX. I don't use the sauna, basketball court and I use an Olympic sized pool near where I live so I don't use that either in any 24-hour fitness facilities to comment on those.
Had a horrible experience at this gym because of the general manager Violet. Her communication skills and customer service skills are not adequate for interaction with people.
Would be 5 stars if they were super sport club (towels provided). I like the pool at this 24 Hour Fitness better than the super sport gyms nearby. It's seems much warmer. Smaller atmosphere which I like. Classes I've taken are great. Being able to go to the different locations is great for me. I circulate between four of them!!
The manager, Violet, is so rude you'll never want to come back to this gym. I now refuse to give my business to 24 hour because of her inability to manage the gym in an effective and friendly way.
