amazing place to practice. All Bikram studios are carpeted and all studios have a certain smell to them, but this place is pretty clean and rarely smells bad. Teachers are awesome and studio is inclusive of all body types and skill levels.

Bikram yoga on Alberta is an excellent hot yoga studio! The instructors are very knowledgeable, and care about the students succeeding in class. The classes are HOT, the hottest around! They don't mess around :) The owners are also amazing, and are actually there, teaching classes and taking classes with you, along with running the front desk. It feels like you are hanging out with family it is so comfortable, where you can be yourself, and easily talk to the instructor and other students after class. They even offer a great first month package, so you can try it and make sure hot yoga is for you :) Such a cool group of people, and an amazing exercise that will transform your body and mind!

It's the whole enchilada.

For the most part I really enjoy the energy of the students and instructors here. There are many different teachers, and after coming for almost 2 years I continue to learn something different from them all. There are a couple teachers who are more like aerobics instructors or boot camp instructors, with loud, intense energy. Because they don't post the schedule online it's frustrating to go there and find that you are in for 90 minutes of non-rejuvanating yoga.

I Am Yoga has a really interesting practice orientation, with most classes in the traditional 26-posture Bikram sequence offered along with the intermediate-level 40-posture sequence, yin yoga classes, and open practice. The heat is amazing, very consistent; nowhere else is it 100°+ 20 minutes before an early morning class. Suzanne has the strongest knowledge of anatomy, alignment and working with special conditions/injuries of any hot yoga style instructor I've come across, and most teachers here are very good about alignment and individual differences. If you want a traditional Bikram, 26-posture only approach, consider Bikram Yoga St. John's; for more vinyasa in a heated room and a wide variety of yoga styles, there's Firelight Yoga.
