San Soo Tulsa is ran by one of the most dedicated family. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and great at training anyone looking to invest themselves in any martial arts skill. I learned more in my 3 months of Krav Maga training than I thought possible. Master Mac and instructor Morgan are great at breaking things down both physically and mentally. They do not just show you what to do but explain why. Defiantly recommend this gym.
Instructors teach what is practical and battle tested. Learning a technique starts with simple movements, then faster, then with resisting partners, the right way.
I absolutely love coming to this place. I'm currently studying krav maga here and can see myself growing not only in skill, but in character as well. If your new to martial arts don't worry, they accompany all levels from amateur to pro. While the training will test you, it is definitely worth what you gain by sticking it out. Don't over think it. It's worth your money, time and sweat.
Everything is great. Instructors are the very best. Only complaint is a broken light bulb. Seems like they would replace that.
Awesome training group! Mac is amazing! Very personable... Just an amazing group of people and I love being there and learning how to defend myself.
I signed up for 3 day guest pass for kickboxing training, its tough, its humbling but you learn a lot about yourself. Its definitely not a cardio kickboxing class, it's real training, real technique from instructors who have a vast knowledge. After going 3 training sessions straight I signed up for a year membership, been over a month now. I enjoy every minute of the hard work it takes to learn the real-life techniques. The instructors, Brandon, chase, master mac, sean and the list goes, give you the one on one that makes a difference. If you're looking for something to challenge you, hard work and not a cardio class, sign up, this training is worth it. Thanks, San Soo.

I attended San Soo Tulsa on a 3 day guest pass. I choose to study the art of San Soo, where we have 3 dedicated masters teaching the art of pure combat applications. The masters and instructors here are top notch in whatever art you choose. As I approach my yellow belt in San Soo, I am thankful for these masters and instructors on the top notch training I am receiving here. Every class I attend my love for San Soo deepens, and my hunger to master the next lesson and technique grows. If your looking for real combat applications, and have not tried San Soo Tulsa yet your truly missing out. So in closing thank you Master Mac, Master Chase, and Master Brandon for the dedication and passion you instill in us students at San Soo Tulsa.

So many savage instructors, great community. Been here about a year and love it. They got Krav Maga, BJJ, kickboxing, a fight team, and Kung Fu San Soo.

Excellent atmosphere! For all levels of practitioners!!
The second you walk into this amazing dojo, you will not want to leave. I walked in signed up for the three free classes and by the end of my second class i payed in full my first month and signed up for a year of unlimited classes. This is absolutely addictive, my car has been broke down, and Ive had internal debates on whether it would be worth to walk 10 miles just not to miss class. There are many teachers for both the san soo and krav maga. My confidence is up along with my fitness. Please join this dojo.
Master Mack makes everything so practical, and the techniques are very effective. San Soo reminds me of Hapkido, but battlefield style and prevents opening up to your enemy. I look forward to many years at San Soo Tulsa!
Great place. Love it. I attended a free self defense seminar and lucked into some coupons for free class sessions after that. I'd been thinking I needed to up my fitness game from aerobics, zumba, and full body tabata to something more application-based and useful. Brazilian jujitsu fit into my schedule, so I showed up, got acquainted, was shown the basics, and it went from there. I was hooked in short order. When my coupons ran out, I paid per session. I talked my boyfriend into joining. When the start of the year rolled around, I signed up for an annual membership and got my kids involved, too. I feel very supported. Everyone is respected, no matter where they are in their journey. Some of the kids get some ribbing when they're not putting in the effort, but it's not bad. They're held accountable for goofing off, that's all. Old, young; back injuries, peak fitness; professional, hobbyist; male, female; big, small; overweight or thin - we're all there rolling together and it's a lot of fun.
I have taken a variety of MA courses around the country (Tae Kwan Do, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, Penkak and White Crane Silat, Golden Gloves Boxing, Kali, Jeet Kun Do), and San Soo Tulsa is, by far, my favorite for numerous reasons: 1) The San Soo art form is amazing - if you are looking for an elegant system that emphasizes efficiency of movement and progresses from evasive to defensive to punitive to lethal, I am not aware of a better system to study; 2) San Soo Tulsa's instructors are very good, very thorough, well respected across many federations and will meet you wherever you are - whether a seasoned MA veteran or brand new to MA, these guys want you to get the experience you are paying for - not some pre-conceived notion of their ideal fighter (unless that's what you want); 3) Their rates are very competitive - they are about 1/2 the rate of many other schools in the area; 4) Their student corpus is very diverse - they have some beginners, several intermediate fighters, some serious bad-a$$es...and very few "egos"... everyone is at different fitness levels - we are all encouraged to go at our own pace and not try to kill ourselves; 5) Location and facilities - in the heart of Midtown, and right off the highway, they are very easy to get to and have a very nice room with an array of bags, workout gear, toys to play with, and a huge exercise mat that is great for developing balance and ankle strength. I have enrolled myself, my 12-y.o. daughter and my 63-y.o. father - we all get something different out of it (my daughter takes San Shau (San Soo "sport"), I take San Shau with her and San Soo "hard" by myself, then I take San Soo "soft" with my dad). Overall, San Soo Tulsa is a superb value and very "cool" place. I'd recommend it to anyone 8 - 80 who wants to get into shape, learn an awesome art form, hang out with some really cool people, and quickly attain tools that can be used in real-life scenarios.
