I am very happy that I brought my son to this particular location. My son is very happy with his classes, the staff is very friendly and the sensei takes time to assist the students. Highly recommend this location.

The instructors there are very respectful and nice. I have been going here for about 3-4 months and I hope ill keep going for a long time. They are very welcoming and this is a great place if you want to see results.

It's the best thing that I am doing for my self, I love it so much. The trainers there are Great they care about everyone in the gym, and even after your class is over if you had a problem with a move they would show it to you a couple more times so that you get it down. The members are the nicest people a person could meet, who will also help you if you don't understand something. Over all coming to Tiger Schulmann's helps me focus on making my self better, not only in MMA but also as a person.

My children (10 yo and 5 yo) love this center. They enjoy the classes and get very upset if they miss any classes (we always make up later). My 10 yo has been attending the classes for almost 6 months now and recently we signed up our son.

I started training 5 years ago, and I have seen an entirely different person emerge from the high school junior I was back then. Back in high school, I was heavy, nonathletic, shy, and couldn't engage in many sports. I still enjoyed skiing, but was not fit enough to do many hours of it. After a year of training, my fitness and confidence level increased dramatically. Now I can't imagine getting through a week without training. It not only keeps me fit physically, but gives me mental and emotional stamina. The instructors always pay attention to me and do not give up until I have reached my goals.

I love everything about the school. The instructor is amazing he has lots of patience which I love. The place is very clean and organized. I cant say anything bad about this school. You have to work for your belt not like other places where you have to buy it to be promoted.

It makes me happy that my children are learning from you well. The teacher, he is very professional. My children are happy with the classes. I hope that over the years, things should be great.

Airy, well-sanitized space with plenty of real estate for movement. Top notch heavy bags and grappling mats. Great A/C and sound system. Instructor Ulugbek seemed knowledgeable and respectful. Location manager Danielle was super helpful and is an awesome person overall. I'd recommend this location to beginners looking to break into martial arts, and to parents looking to enroll their children into a seemingly well organized curriculum.

Hello Everyone!
You know, I'm not the kind of person who complains about life or does bad reviews. But I think that what happened to me at Tiger Schulmann`s mixes martial art school should know everyone, including all the branches of the school.
I`m not the one who should tell you stories that life can be tough and unpredictable, especially in New York. Someone could get in trouble or get sick, most of us have parents who we have to help sometimes. It seemed just yesterday everything was fine, you had free time and money to spend it for hobby or something you really like, but then something happens, and you lost money and lost your free time. And now you have to work hard and pay your bills.

Last spring I signed up for classes at school Tiger Schulmann`s on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. Have absolutely no complaints about classes itself, I really liked that. After a few months of training I realized (with regret) that I don`t have time to attend classes because now I have to work 12-14 hours until late night. And also, training schedule didn`t give me possibility to workout in the morning, thay had only evening classes. After I missed a couple of classes, I was contacted by school administration, which I explained my current situation. I was asked to change location to Manhatten and travel in the morning from Brooklyn to Manhattan because thay have morning classes there. I promised to think about that. That month, my bank was switching to chip cards and sent me a new card with a chip and blocked the old one, so Tiger school could not charge money for future classes which I wasn`t attending. A few months later, after I stopped attending classes, I received an e-mail where school administration was asking questions when I`m going to pay for classes. I sent a reply that I wasn't attending classes for long time already, and because of many reasons I don`t plan it in future. That was my last communication with Tiger administration. There were no more notifications that I have to pay them something or have to pass membership cancelation procedure, just nothing, only regular news from school promotions.

A year later, I was contacted by collection agency. Thay said I own Tiger Schulmann`s school more then 2000$ dollars. They said I did not pass cancelation procedure and because of that Tiger Schulmann`s school was setting money on my account as a debt. No one cares about the fact that administration did not inform me that I have to cancel my membership and there is special procedure for that. Thay just waited until the end of the year and send my debt to colletion agency. If I don't pay that money I will have problems, at least my credit score will be reduced.

Don't worry guys. I'll pay those bills. Already paid first $ 300. But thank you for everything. For bad experiences as well. People learn from mistakes. Well, you are my mistake. I am new immigrant, and that was my first hard year in US. I didn't know that things like that can happen to me. Bills like that just killing me. Some people say that 99 responses to 100 questions is the word "money". I disagree with that, but apparently, you work and think in another way.

Thank you again and all the best in business.

Great studio, good Instructors and organized pretty well - pricing is, since I didn't find it anywhere online, $23 per class, $199 for a month (2 classes a week) and $19 per class if you do 3 classes a week

Best training school. Sensei Sean Nolan is the highly skilled professional that can find a unique approach to the most stubborn students, like my son ( he was 6 at the time). Just after first few sessions at his class, my son fall in love with it. If you want to get your kid or yourself in shape, become more confident and learn how to defend yourself, then I would strongly recommend his school

I posted this review to Yelp a few years back but it still holds true:

I'm not a fan of this school, and Sensei Nolan, because my 6yo might learn to fight here. I'm a fan because my son -- and eventually my 3yo daughter -- will learn how to avoid fights. They will learn discipline and character. The martial arts being taught are the conduit by which the far more important lessons are conveyed.

Parents are a welcome part of the education and students are held accountable for how they perform outside -- including the classroom. A child will be demoted for poor grades or other misbehavior.

Sensei Nolan is the dying breed of educator that won't lie and say "Great job!" to your special little snowflake when they do something wrong. They'll hear "Wrong; do it again."
