Wow. This place used to be so great. I only made it to one class, but I was impressed. That was a little over a year ago, and I'm sad to say that it has definitely gone down hill since then. Having purchased an advanced package for 6-classes with an expiration date of July 2014, I was excited to redeem them. I called when the classes I booked were no longer showing online to see what was up. I was very curtly and rudely informed that they were no longer honouring those packages, with a dialogue that went something like this:
"We aren't running those classes anymore," said Rachel
"No problem," I replied. "Can you refund the amount, or just apply it to other classes?"
'Ma'am," she almost yelled, 'I told you we are not honouring those anymore. They have expired".
"But they haven't expired," I said. "I am looking at the expiration date in your own system. They expire on July 10th, 2014".
"Ma'am we are not honouring them. Goodbye".
And with that the phone line went dead.
Might be the rudest, most unethical customer service I have ever experienced. What a disappointing let down for what would otherwise be an NYC gem.
