Small gym about three locations around Albuquerque. Staff is on site Monday through Friday between normal working hours and that's the only way to signup and cancel your membership and I don't like that. The gym is open 24/7 you let yourself in, no staff smiling faces greetings you as you walk in the door.

Like this gym because I'm still able to go even if there is no staff. It's a true 24/7 gym. Has all the stuff you need. Treadmills, ellipticals,. Lots of free weights. Dumbbells go up to 110 or more I believe. The location on 4th and osuna has a cut off section that is almost separate from the other stuff for free bench, deadlifting, squats all the good stuff. Feel free to grunt and lunk away.

Great gym, friendly staff! I work early and usually work out around 3:30am, only a few people there that early. Good variety of equipment in a secure building, always clean.

This is one of the better gyms in ABQ. The staff and members at Powerflex are always friendly and willing to help if you have questions. It may be a smaller gym, but it's shows up where it matters.

I just finished my 3 day trial and i have to say, I'm in love! I absolutely love this Gym. I'm currently a planet fitness member, which i absolutely cannot stand planet anymore. i had a list of 5 gyms to check out, this being my second gym, and i didn't even bother to look at the other 3 gyms because this one is almost perfect and offers everything I'm looking for in a gym as far as equipment, location and vibes. I will be leaving PF and purchase a membership at Powerfllex. it's never over crowded, members seem to be very courteous of one another, it's affordable, 24-hour access and the best part, i live across the street and have easy access. The only complaint i would have about the gym is it is missing a TRX! but, there wouldn't really be enough space for something like that (space to maneuver in a routine utilizing the TRX) If the gym was slightly bigger and had a TRX, it would be absolutely perfect. I know we can't always have what we want in one whole package, so rather than it being a complaint maybe i should call it 'room for improvment' I look forward to being a member!

This is one of the better gyms in ABQ. I went to Defined Fitness for a couple years, and while they are good when it comes to variety, it feels like you're putting on a show, not working out. The staff and members at Powerflex are always friendly and willing to help if you have questions. It may be a smaller gym, but it's shows up where it matters.

Decent rates. The place is always kept clean and tidy. The environment is comfortable and calm, which makes it easy for beginners to go and start getting into a routine. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

In the 2 months I've gone I really have enjoyed this gym. Of course I go early in the morning so I'm the only person there at the time but it is always clean with a good variety of equipment.

The location on San Pedro, formerly Mike's Gym, is our gym. My husband and I were members of Mike's and we decided to stay on. So glad we did! The new owner greatly improved the gym: new equipment and clean. It's not a big gym, but has all the necessary equipment. As a woman, what I like about this gym is that it has a variety of folks. No body builders hogging machines here. Also, the gym attendants are helpful. If I don't know how to use a machines they're always happy to help out. My husband and I will continue our membership.
