I've always like the environment at PF. People criticize and complain about the lunk alarm and other PF policies but each business has the right to expect their customers respect their policies and when we become part or member of a business we are supposed to understand those policies before signing any contract. But unfortunately nowadays there's some people that don't like to read and then blame ot on others for their lack of integration. Also I've been in othe ther gyms here in NM and in TX and some have similar policies regarding dress code and weight slamming just to mention some. PF is a great place for first time gym users. Why am I rating the one on Gibson with 4 stars? Well, i go the BC 2 weeks ago and I usually get there around 6pm with my wife 3x week and so far the guy in black shirt hasn't even say "Hi welcome to PF". The ones that always received with a smile and greetings are Brandon and another slim, long hair young girl. Both are very friendly. An example, I returned yesterday a quarter I f poi und by the leg press and gave it to a staff member who said "Thank you"...the guy with the black shirt just looked at the coin and continued on his phone...I guess he hasn't read "Raving fans".

Probably my favorite PF to go to. The Staff at all of the PF gyms are great. I like this one cause it's not crazy packed when you go in the morning. I also like that this gym has a machine for preacher curls that's isn't part of the circuit work out. They also have actual row machines for cardio too.

If you know PF, the staff here is helpful and wonderfully friendly. Most people who use the facilities work to share the equipment so you don't have to wait long to use a machine or other equipment. I highly recommend this site!

Nice friendly gym. the staff is great and always helpful..Real laid back atmosphere.. yolonda the haircut lady is so nice and does a good job. I love this location.

I joined the gym mainly for the haircuts. The stylist does a good job. The men's bathroom is missing paperwork towels and has hand dyer which can take time to dry your hands. There is no water refill stations and the hand sanitizer is not always filled. The elliptical machine are average.

The gym is good, never too busy, everything works.
The men's room could be cleaner and they need a water bottle filling station.

I really like the value especailly for the price. They have nice and professional staff, it's clean, and I almost never have to wait for a machine or a spot to use the free weights (why do people say they have none? There's plenty now). The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is that the staff/management do not enforce the "no-cell phone" rule. People are carrying on long loud conversations ad nauseum. Please please post a sign or do something about it! Thanks so much!

This gym is always clean and well stocked with sanitary supplies. One of the employees Genevieve, is very helpful , professional and courteous. It is a joy to always see her smiling face so early in the morning

Has always been my favorite location. The current staff is the best. Always friendly and helpful. Other customers are friendly. Really enjoy working out at this location.

Great place to work out! Clean, lots of room and all the necessary equipment is there! Only $10/month, but be aware that once a year they want to charge you annual $40 fee, which always comes unexpected.

The staff is amazing and I like the gym but if you want more people to come don't you think you guys should get up-to-date equipment that's all that is bad about this gym you need better equipment up-to-date one

No barbells. No free weights. Was using 15 lb dumbbells and got told not to drop them to the floor. 15 lbs!!!
The atmosphere is too goody good. The gym bombards you with "no criticism" but has staff and a freaking alarm ready to judge you if you try to train.
This place is for people to start off I guess. But even then, they have Tootsie rolls and pizza/bagel days? Not ideal for people wanting to change.

What do you expect for $20 a month? If I held them to the franchise's standards I would expect a whole hell of a lot more. Since I don't, I just go with it.
This location advertises on its window "24/5" meaning, 24 hours a day, five days a week. It is a blatant lie. On Friday evening they close early, which should account for one of those days, considering Monday-Thursday they are open 24 hours and Saturday and Sunday they close at 7 PM. They need to quit falsely advertising they're open 24 hours a day five days a week and change it to four days a week.
The place is typically pretty dirty. You can go in and see the same foot print or piece of trash laying on the floor in the same location for a few days. The longest I have seen was eight days.
The paper roll dispensers aren't filled often enough. They expect that you'll wipe down the equipment after use, but it's hit and miss if there's any paper or cleaning solution to do that. Some employees must not want to load the paper towels into the towel dispensers because often times the whole rolls are left on top of the trash cans while the dispenser remains empty.
The shower curtains are torn and the restrooms are usually dirty. I avoid the locker room now as much as possible because it smells like old cheese. Yesterday, I saw a man using the hand dryer to dry off his genitals; which I know is something the company can't control, but all the more reason to avoid the devolving locker room.
I know from experience that it's hard to always keep a high-volume gym clean, so maybe you should hire more people to do the work and not dump everything on the counter staff. I have never had any issues with staff except for the really skinny blonde gal who doesn't seem motivated to do much.
Update April 2017:
I have bumped up my review to three stars. I don't know if this location has undergone a change in management, but there are people actually cleaning the gym and it shows. Keep up the good work!

When will you fix the urinal in the men's restroom? It has been broken for weeks now, along with one of the sinks. Also, why are there still nine or 10 broken treadmills weeks later?

It's a bit smaller than the ones I use to go to but, it's still good. It has 2 massage chairs and 2 hydro beds, 1 tanning booth, 1 beauty angle booth, and free hair cuts, all for black card members. I go in random times a day and it's not ever crowded, which is a mega plus! The employees are Pleasant, upbeat, and very helpful.

I love that there is never any waiting to get on machines. Nice staff members and no one bothering you as you work out. There are people of different sizes and abilities working out here with no one judging you. That makes me feel more comfortable during my workout. Really good location!
