Bhava Yoga Studio is one of the most welcoming yoga studios! As soon as I went through the entrance door, I felt I've found home for my yoga study/practice. Teachers are real professionals, so knowledgeable and talented! I'm grateful for this studio and feel very fortunate to have found it!

Great studio and lovely space. The parking lot gets packed, but the classes are worth it!

Lackluster restorative class. And $16 drop in fee to boot.

I loved this studio. I visited a LOT - so much, that I signed up for an annual membership last August. Then, after becoming unemployed in December, I requested a suspension of my account until I was back on my feet in a new position. The new owners agreed verbally. I was told in effect, "We don't know how to do this yet, but we will."

It turns out, in January, they began charging me again, without notification. I was remiss in noticing until this month, so I contacted them to see about a full or partial refund. Based on our verbal exchange and my written request, the suspension seemed indefinite, until I requested reinstatement. The terms currently on their website regarding an up to 30 day hold did not exist, and were never shared with me. To me, this all felt like a software mistake, given the owners' already shared lack of understanding about how the software worked.

Today, a week after my first email and after a follow up, I was told that the terms posted on their website about a 30 day suspension applied. They would be canceling my membership, but not refunding anything.

Here's the thing:
Informally, they knew I moved in January. If I'd received ANY billing statements, this all could've happened a lot earlier with formal notice. I received no written terms, no written notice the charges would be beginning again, and I'm not even sure I have a signed contract - at least, not one I was provided a copy of.

That money, now totaling over $700, could have helped while I was looking for a job. It could help me recover from moving expenses even now. Given the time passed, I'd be happy for a partial refund to acknowledge an early cancellation of sorts. It's disappointing to see how little compassion is being demonstrated by a local business I loved, let alone yogis.

I love to come to this studio when I'm in Albuquerque. The instructors are knowledgeable and the new owners are truly passionate about providing premier yoga instruction for students of all levels. The experience is wonderful from the moment you walk through the door. I wish Bhava Yoga was in my hometown!

I have been attending classes at Bhava for 2 1/2 years and can't praise the instructors enough! They are well trained, patient, friendly and focus on technique. The studio is pleasing and you always leave feeling great!

I've really advanced my practice here. Teachers are solid and classes are accessible, reasonably priced and available all day, so I don't have an excuse not to attend.
