This place is amazing! They have a large, calming studio, wonderful community, and the instructors are super knowledgeable and welcoming, they make sure you have a great yoga experience. You feel amazing after taking a class here. Highly recommend!
There are a few different studios in town I have visited over the years, and this by far is my favorite. I recently started coming here in the last month. Julie, who is the owner and one of the teachers is very positive and helpful with her style of teaching for newcomers, or for somebody with an injury, like me, reminding us that yoga is about more than just physical movement of the body. The practice is more authentic, and every experience I have had here has been positive. Dominic and Isela are also great teachers. I work in the medical field and have introduced a couple of my coworkers to this place and so far they love it. This is the perfect place to recover from stress, trauma, and to work on reconnecting the mind, body and spirit.
I stoped doing Yoga for a few months and thought i shouldn't give it up. So i decided to try Hot Yoga at TRu and I'm really enjoying it. I did some research and giving the options I had I know I made the right choice with TRu Hot Yoga. The instructors I've had so far are awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. The new student special is a great way to try new classes to see what you like. I will be looking forward to my classes during the week/weekend.
I have been coming here for years on and off. Where do I even start?!? Julie is absolutely amazing and welcoming every time never failing to make every student felt cared about. I hadn't been in a long time and was nervous last night and had pleasure of having a class with Rachel and it was perfect so positive! The floor is amazing in the yoga room and just perfect amount of lighting. The classes range from difficult to easy but take any class and they will help you adjust and find a pace to make it work for you. Anyway of you are looking for hot yoga this is your place!
This is great yoga experience. They have a nice space, the room is very hot, the instructor is good, and everyone is really inviting. You can go at your own pace or get a really intense flow going depending on where you are on your Yoga journey.
What a glorious 90 minutes! Owner and instructor Julie was warm, welcoming, and a very skilled teacher. Space is huge and beautiful, and I felt amazing afterwards. I highly recommend checking them out. Prices are very reasonable. Wish I lived here just to go to this studio!

TRu is my favorite studio to practice in the city! From the clean spacious studio to the passionate staff dedicated to your health and well-being. There are other studios closer to my home but I am devoted to a studio where I feel motivated and challenged in a relaxing and safe environment.
If you are a yogi this is definitely a place you need to try out. Not only are ALL the instructors phenomenal, skilled, & educated in the art of yoga but the studio itself is perfectly tailored for yoga. Hands down the best yoga studio in Albuquerque!!
