Many businesses with a younger staff tend to have a lack of great service. This staff is generally young , but they break the mold. They are kind and always cleaning the equipment and making sure paper towels are filled, etc. They greet you with a hello and a goodbye! The staff alone deserves a 5 star rating. The gym is small, but you can work around it. It does get insanely packed, but for the price and the only one in this part of town, it's understandable.

Bad customer service.. it been a while seen they over changer my credit card. Planet fitness should have their employees explain better. Decide to cancel my membership better and move to CHUZE fitness.

I love coming here. I've never had a single issue here at all. That being said I am not a weightlifter so they may see it differently. There's certain missing equipment like benches, etc. I personally love the weights they do provide and the variety of cardio machines. If you're trying to lose weight I do suggest skipping the free pizza days (only if you want to) and instead grab an aqua massage or tan. There is always a wide variety of TVs and channels playing for your entertainment and there's music always playing. I recommend going here for a good daily workout.;)

I love coming here. I've never had a single issue here at all. That being said I am not a weightlifter so they may see it differently. There's certain missing equipment like benches, etc. I personally love the weights they do provide and the variety of cardio machines. If you're trying to lose weight I do suggest skipping the free pizza days (only if you want to) and instead grab an aqua massage or tan. There is always a wide variety of TVs and channels playing for your entertainment and there's music always playing. I recommend going here for a good daily workout.;)

I posted a review about an employee last week or so. I said she wasn't attentive enough. Maybe I should understand they're really busy too. Today I was greeted by this employee. I also saw her walking around greeting and helping people at several workout stations. The whole staff is friendly. The place and locker rooms are clean. Awesome job Planet Fitness. Thank you.

Today was the one day this place received a half a star. The girl at the counter (the one with her head covered with the black scarf) was rude. I walked up to the counter to check in and she acted like I was interrupting her day. Excuse me? She sighed as she walked over to check me in. No hello. No have a good day. No nothing. Rude. Great customer appreciation. Whoever trained her did an awful job because the rest of the staff that I have dealt with here are awesome. Always friendly. Always greet me and say goodbye. The place is always clean. This one little incident had to ruin my day. Sad. Please let her know that if there were no customers she wouldn't be working. Well.....you know. Other than that the rest of the staff is great and attentive. Place is clean.

Cancelling your membership can be more difficult than pulling teeth. I moved 1500+ miles away and could not cancel my membership over the phone OR via email. My options were to cancel in person(Fly out & pay $500+ in flights/Rental Car), or certified mail. Somehow you can buy a membership online but not cancel one. I would have considered them in the future when one would be near my new residence but now I will ensure everyone I know drops them ASAP.

First time ever signing up for a Gym and it was going great managers super friendly great customer service. Other staff members not so much all the boys in the morning talking and act like if you are bothering them when you walk in so they can scan your membership that is their Job and they give you attitude. First time I thought maybe he was having a bad day so I let it slide even though he just grabbed my keys scanned and practically threw them at me. Next 3 times it happened when I didn't even get a response when I said good morning not a thank you nothing. Other then the rude people at the front the gym is nice great atmosphere unfortunately for me customer service is everything that's why I'm rating them 2 stars.

This place is bright inside! Its a great thing cause some other location is very dark and it will put you to sleep. Customer service at the desk are friendly and willing to help. Its a clean gym and the machine is clean also. Parking is good in certain times and if you go at the busiest times around 6pm to 9pm parking is tough to find. The gym is packed around those times. In the morning its not so bad, you can find parking and the gym is not so packed. Inside is nice and bright and you feel awake and ready to workout.

This gym is clean, front desk is very friendly. Have been to several other locations, in my opinion this one is the best. The equipment is newer and better maintained.

Nice gym with a plenty of treadmills. I wish they had more room in the free weight area as it can get really packed. But overall the gym good especially for the price.

It really sucks that the majority of the gyms aren't handicapped accessible so my husband and I can switch out gyms and make it easier for him to workout. I had my own black card membership, but since the employees never cared to check me in I decided to just cancel it instead of pating for nothing and come as a guest with my husband, since he also has the black card. The manager has made each one of our visits unpleasant and after coming as a guest for over three months she FINALLY noticed that I wasn't in the system and has a bad attitude when we arrive. I guess it's not okay to use the machines as we please but its okay for the employees to give the guests bad attitude. And on top of everything my husband paid a past amount which was never entered in the system and the next day they said he needed to pay again, he fought it and Brandi kept insisting that it was actually entered for the following month and made him pay that month again plus a late fee he had already paid. We are looking to switch gyms but like I said, not many in our area are handicapped accessible.

Very nice gym! Only crowded around 6-9pm any other time it isn't as bad. The people who workout here and very nice, but customer service could be much better. They lied and told me I couldn't work out because an agreement wasn't signed even thought it was. I was told to go to the gym I originally signed up and fix it, my original gym told me they were incorrect.

WONDERFUL OVERALL - MADE ME FEEL VERY WELCOMED AND COMFORTABLE. I am a 35 yr old very heavy set woman. I was literally terrified, and embarrassed to even step foot into this place. I have used PF in other states, which is why I chose to try this 1 close to my new home here in ABQ. The experience was STELLAR. Wish I could give TEN STARS! I am a very picky, hard to please type and I can not even think of 1 single complaint. I dealt with Christian at the desk. The manager Jared came over greeted me as well, spoke with me in great length and was very comforting and understanding. He genuinely cared about me and my personal situation. I set down with Christian and went over the various memberships, and all benefits included. They had not done this at other locations in the past. The manager Jared made sure I knew the exact cost of every single charge to the penny! Wow!! No sneaky fees here. I signed up for the black card. I have been EVERY day since signing up. They even give you a form showing what times it is more or less crowded so you know when you prefer to come! At super crowded times parking can be a little tricky. Also the chairs in the front by the tables where you wait for classes are too small!! I am a size 16/18 and I can not fit in the chair. I know I was not the largest one in the gym so better chairs that allow for a wider person to sit would be better. Also I think if the EEs would put the McDonald's etc in the back that would be less tempting or painful for some patrons. LOL Machines clean! TVS and tech all works. Massage chairs etc all working and easily accessible. I like the way the equipment to work out is positioned for as much privacy as possible in a crowded place. The music they play is good and not too loud. The wifi is excellent and passcode easily accessible. I did a build your own workout class last night with the trainer Ryan. He is wonderful! Very patience personable and cares about your situation. Helped me design a plan tailored to my condition with my ankle so it does not put much pressure on that side. He even made me some homework exercise to do while working from home office in the day. FREE of charge - the classes and trainer are INCLUDED in the membership! What a HUGE value. This is the best gym I have been to ever and am so happy PF South Valley will be a part of my weight loss and health care journey. Thanks guys! ;)
