I have been a member with Work Out World for many years. At one point I had cancelled as I had medical issues and was not really able to go to the gym. I re-joined again...but much to my dismay, I am not really using the facility. Where I work they have gyms, not to mention I can join Planet fitness for $10.00 a month, and not have to pay a membership fee. I just got hit with a $50.00 fee today on 2/18. Not to mention they billed my bank for for $10.00 for Jan & Feb. and I have not even gone to the gym. This club thrives on the folks that give free money to them! I asked them if they would help and at least give me some credit...as I have been billed me for $70.00 without using the gym and cancelling today! They come back and thank me for their loyalty, but do not want to honor some kind of payment restitution back...very inflexible with their customer service. If I have ever re-considered coming back...today seals the deal, and I will never step foot in Work Out World again. The club is old...and there are other clubs that have just as much, and are newer. I'm being told that they are raising their rates from $10.00 a month to $14.95? Good luck to you Work Out World, better change your billboard outside. Yes, this place is a rip-off with no soul. I am going to send a notice to the Better Business Bureau. Whether I get somewhere or not, I am going to bring light of their horrible customer service. Their gym is nothing extraordinary, and there are many gyms to choose from that are are not so outdated. The place could use some cleaning. They are easy to join, but difficult to cancel. Buyer beware...of the snare. What may look to good to be true is bad to the bone.
If i could rate this gym below one star best believe that I would, I have been a member here since 2013 and it has been bearable up until now. My wife no longer wants to come to the gym because she is limited to the time she can come and when she does come to the gym after 6:00 pm she feels as if she is being stared at by the male staff member working the front desk. We had no problem when we come into work out earlier in the morning and find the front desk workers here in the am polite, kind, and approachable. We've also stopped bringing in our child because the babysitters could care less about the children and more focused on talking on the phone.
Signed up here because the pricing was great and it was 24 hours. Now I hear pricing is going up and now the hours for the gym to be open is getting cut less and less.
They're losing a lot of customers to planet fitness with the greedier they get. But great equipment overall & lots of space. Staff doesn't enforce others to put back their weights after using them also.

I've been with work out world for two years. I go to the gym because I have to.Unfortunately it's cost me $90 in overdraft fee's because of negligent bookkeeping. The most recent is when I signed up my son as a family add on in June of 22017.After 3 months he hasn't made it to the gym once so I canceled his membership in September. I kept enough funds in my account to last a year. In may of 2018 abc financial wanted to update my account info. That's when I found out wow took his membership fees out until march of 2018 which is why I was charged an over draft fee of $30 I told the manager about it. She looked into my story and said they would reimburse me $70 I asked about the $30 overdraft fee and they won't pay it so again I lose. I have a limited income because of physical disabilities which is why I go to the gym. I've met some good people at wow good friends. I like wow it helps me strengthen my disabilities. My suggestion to new members is to make sure you monitor your account constantly. The sad part is my children warned me about that and I didn't listen.if the manager can't resolve this I hope the owner can

Great gym... Clean ,lots of space, and friendly staff.
Although theres limited machines the staff is friendly and atmosphere is good.
The staff is nice, just let you do your thing and don't get in the way.
However, It's really dirty, unkept and free weights are everywhere.
Weights and dumbbells are never where they should be so you'll spend a lot of time looking for weights that people just leave everywhere.
One of my major complaints is that there is only ONE squat rack. It's crazy. The squat rack is the one station everyone wants to use and there's only one in the entire gym.
So if you plan on using a squat rack good luck because you'll be waiting.

Okay here is the deal gym junkies and weekend warriors, listen up... This gym is conveniently located in downtown Nashua NH on Main street at the Shaws plaza... Is it spotless, NO! but tell me a downtown gym in any city that is.... The staff is great... They have put a huge effort forward with the cleanliness of the locker rooms and the overall appearance of the equipment. The manager Christina is wonderful... Always smiling and greeting the clients and willing to help in any way possible... The cleaner RJ is great... Always working hard and making sure that he puts an effort in making sure all equipment is clean and things are the way they should be... He is special needs but a kind soul and wonderful asset to their staff. There is another older gentlemen that works the locker room and cleans the floors and he is equally helpful to the overall appearance. They are improving greatly over the years making sure that if there is a concern with a piece of equipment that it gets handled in a timely manner- its an area they have addressed and are constantly working on making sure everything works as they should. Their membership prices are the best in town... so in many ways you get what you pay for.... But it is worth a shot and them being centrally located is wonderful.... I would also recommend addressing any concerns with the manager Christina as she seems to be the best qualified to help in areas of concern. I've been a member off and back on for about 10 years and I have seen the good the bad the ugly... they are improving and overall a good gym at a great price.
This place is filthy. The staff is lazy and indifferent to member concerns. The custodians do nothing. One in particular works around twirling a dirty rag making creepy animal noises. The hours of operation keep decreasing. The sauna is always cold, it takes an hour to heat up and if you call to have it turned on before your arrival they won't oblige. This place is a real horror show.

I've only been going about 2 months and I've lost just about 10 lbs so far. I havnt seen a number like this in over 4 years! I am so happy with my progress so far! Thank you mike Carter for training me!
Just started going but so far very nice clean and staff is very attentive. I had a complementary class with a trainer that was informative and didn't feel pushed into taking personal training courses
